Do you know if the shop replacement badges are genuine love the videos

One just have to take a close look at the S. The fake ones have a more precise S and the authentic ones always have an S that looks a little bit crooked.

Would be interesting to see if you lined up a couple of real badges to see the consistency of stone island's stitching quality. Good video overall, thanks :)

I have a AW 2003 hoodie and I’m certain it’s real, however the badge stitching is very off compared to other pieces, everything matches perfectly expect it’s more of a gold colour and the stitching is poor, how bad would the stitching be on old badges?

Very unlike as there is no green stitching anywhere near it. Most likely a fake

I’ve had 1 badge that’s original with black stitching on the back from many years ago(over 10 years easily). also it depends where the item was made too as I’ve got some items that are 100% authentic but the green and yellow are very ever so slightly different on a couple of them, I think 1 of them is from slight sun fading though. The new 1 to 1 copies are getting too good!

Thank you I was gonna say the same, I got one I know is real and it has black stitching, the thing is it was made in turkey or somewhere I’d have to check, and they must have different machines. Thing is I wear fake badges all the time the real ones seem to mess up just by being worn no matter how careful. At the end of the day who cares if the badge is real, I’m worried that stone island are never going to try again. They know that people are desperate to buy into them and if you are buying something and you are worried if it’s real or you don’t think it’s worth the price tag, then you really shouldn’t be buying it. I wish the person making this video wouldn’t put such an emphasis on making people feel that there is something wrong with them becuase they have a fake badge. Stone island mug people off, when they release special fabrics and they peal they are mugging us off becuase research and development is to sort problems. I have the jackets etc that I feel are worth the money, and to be honest the way stone island go on I don’t care if it’s fake or real as long as it fits well and is well made. If you don’t feel a purchase meets that criteria then if it’s real and a fake does a better job, tell me who is the mug? Usualy it’s always the legit piece but there are replicas that will make you question prices. And I don’t need a real badge to fit in, but I’m embarrassed of some purchases becuase they are real, even if I did get cheap, i know they are not worth the price as advertising and inflated price for exclusivity is nothing when a company takes liberties. I tried getting a replacement cp lense Addidas version and they wouldn’t sell to me, and even the standard watch viewer lense which used to be on sale in UK and available abroad, still they would not sell. So I spend all this money and they won’t help me out when they can not becuase they have none they choose not to help. So think about that when you buy something. Do they respect there customer and why do they think they can sell things that you have to tip toe around in. These are bought by hooligans how can you have a scrap if the material breaks before you even break a sweat

Yeah Certilogo isn’t always reliable even if u do multiple times it comes up as fake

Original is more smoother and softer type of badge.

Only buy my Stone Island from Flannels. Don't really care who's wearing fake or not. What you gonna do tell them that's fake. Who cares. Not everyone can buy real designer. If you can, then you're blessed enough than those who can not.
