THE municipal government of Guiguinto, Bulacan celebrated its 25th Halamanan Festival 2023 with more colorful and fun activities held on Wednesday, January 18.
With the theme "Matingkad na Pagkinang sa 25 Taong Paglinang," this year's festive celebration's opening ceremony was led by Gov. Daniel Fernando, Fifth District Rep. Ambrosio Cruz Jr., Mayor Paula Agatha Cruz, Vice Mayor Banjo Estrella, and the councils of the Sangguniang Bayan.
Fernando in his message said that one of the prestigious festivals in Bulacan is Guiguinto's Halamanan Festival which recently received an award in the provincial's Singkaban Festival 2022, the mother of all festivals in the province.
"Malaking bagay ang magkaroon ng ganitong kasiyahan para ma-showcase natin ang ating mga sariling produkto na nakikilala na sa buong bansa," the governor said.
Bulacan, according to Fernando, is the next Metro Manila because of continuous development in the province including the P745-billion Bulacan International Airport in the town of Bulakan which is adjacent to Guiguinto town.
