@@Hauchoi322 It sounds high but let's break it down. $20 Hardware $30 Filament $30 Print time ~30 hrs (depreciation to printer) $10 Replacement Printer Parts $100 Assembly time 2hrs (worker wages and taxes) $5 License for creator $48 Business Overhead for 32hr (lights, billing, etc) Total $243 Seems reasonable for a 3D printed hand built blaster. This doesn't take into account loss from misprints or research and development.

@@aaronplace219 Yeah i spend my life in the 3D printing world as well as know the filament and printers you use very very well. To start those hardware costs seem high, couple screws, metal rods and through rods are not that expensive unless your buying them individually. Prints also not too big, parts look very optimized for material reduction so id bet you are not using a full roll per nerf gun, make that filament cost $20 max for your biggest gun. Additionally your working with protopasta who offers large bulk discounts for orders as small at $250, and considering your color options and number of products id assume your spending at least $1000 an order which gives you a 25% off discount. Next your 30 hour print time only exists because you chose a printer which, dont get me wrong, is amazing, i have one myself, but very slow. Upgrade to bambu labs, only about $500 per and youll make that print time 10-15 hours per. Also depreciation to printers is aggressively minimal if any unless your using your printer wrong. For a print like that theres maybe $1 printer depreciation between all the parts combined, especially when compared to your pay per printed part. Next your printer replacement part number is just bullshit. What replacement parts do you need per item that cost $10? Unless you have absolutely no idea how to run a printer youll spend MAYBE $0.30 replacing a nozzle if you chose to use HTPLA and didnt swap to a stainless steel nozzle. $100 for 2 hours of assembly? and its a build it yourself kit?? So what exactly are they assembling for 2 hours and why is the pay so high? Also you didnt include a quality control area, which is vital to successful mass producing 3D printed parts, so that just makes me even more confused about this break down. If this sounds accusatory i do apologize, but I am not a fan of how your being very proprietary with 3D printed objects that are being 3D printed on a hobbyist level of quality based on your breakdown. The world of 3D printing is very open source, the goal was for everyone to be able to make and collaborate and improve, meanwhile you dont even have a download for 100% 3D printed darts... instead you charge what looks to be $8 a piece... Its a great product dont get me wrong, but im not so sure about that pricing and the way you gatekeep very simple parts in a community thats aggressively anti gatekeeping isnt the best look.

I’m not an expert but I’m pretty sure the SLAB will be more consistent if you use worker gen 3+ darts

You need to preface that your requirements aren't for the $250 blaster, but the $180 version. Or at least change the thumbnail as it's misleading.

I was curious about many of the same aspects so I appreciate the honesty and thoughtful approach to the review you took. Thanks for doing a great job with this!

Iirc the hardware kit with no 3d parts is like 50+$ so if you have a printer it's cheaper than a dart zone pro mk4

I put in a hybrid aluminum/brass 14” from front line foam Great results!! Just got to wax it.

I could also plan electrical design . I made afull auto 4x friction disk with spirals so they spun the dartsuper hard and was more acurate then my tippman paintball gun . But it was made of wood and was horrific looking but it would peel a layer of skin off when it used your skin to stop its rotational energy on contact it was definitely spinning some. Rpms . It was fun i would build another if didnt have to pay for materials

i have a solution to the price, buy and ender 3 for $200, than the hardware kit for $45, finally buy a roll or 2 of filament for $20. sure it costs more, but in the end you will end up with the thing, and a 3d printer w/ filament

Ngl 250 ain't worth it in my opinion maybe 200 but probs 185 as half of the price is just because not many lever action blasters exist so not even because it is an amazing blaster, also build your own price maybe 125 but there are like still better blasters
