The 24 Principles ⛩ Book of Five Rings | Summary 2/2

Second part of a full summary of Miyamoto Musashi's Book of Five Rings. I read the book 20 times and broke down and explained every major point I could see in plain English. Interspersed with quotations to back them up.

1:26-1:46 might be the greatest nuanced transition I've seen in a video like this. That was incredible.

I have been enjoying listening to your narrations and commentary on several of these videos over the past week both while at work, and while working on art in the evening. its a welcome reinforcement to some of my favorite literary works. What are the odds that you would do a narration and commentary on the Hagakure? While I have read it myself a few times, i must admit i would love to see that in your lineup of videos to listen to while I am staying busy. Either way, thankyou for putting out top tier content, I will certainly continue to enjoy this resource

That was absolutely brilliant. Thanks for releasing it. Have to wonder what the real story of Sasaki Kojiro is because he is said to have lived in Fukui city ( where I live ) and there’s a statue of the two of them going at it!

Maybe it's my imagination, but JKD echoes some of this. Particularly the stop hit, the intercepting attack. He must have been an inspiration for Lee.
