Honestly, this feels more like a Venza than the current Venza, considering the old one used to be a mix of a wagon and SUV as well

I bought my 1st Venza in 2020 a 2009 and I love it, when I heard that they were bringing it back I was disappointed that they brought back some kicked up Rav 4 basically. The 2021-2024 Venza is a lot smaller than the 2009-2015 model, where anything past the front row seats felt like tight and small. I am 6'2 and with my 2009 I am able to sit far back and still go in the seat behind me and not have to adjust the drivers seat at all. To find out that this new Crown Insignia is basically the 2009-2015 Venza with Hybrid tech and still a bit bigger? I am sold. What sold me on the 2009-2015 Venza was that it was basically a larger Camry.

That's because the original Venza was essentially a Camry Wagon. The current Venza is a 4th generation Toyota Harrier. The first two generations of the Harrier were rebadged and sold in the US as Lexus RXs.

Fuel efficiency is considerably worse than the 2024 Venza. 21" wheels make for a very uncomfortable ride on American roads. The design of the rear is out of place with the front. Really needs a total re-design.

This 2025 Toyota Crown Signia has a stunning, classy design, both outside and inside. I hope they keep all the features they show in this pre-production model. YET, I was strongly disappointed it did NOT have the following features: 1) HEADS-UP DISPLAY: Yes, this feature may cost a bit more, but it is expected for a car in this category! For me, this would be a deal breaker. 2) LUMBAR SUPPORT PASSENGER SEAT, Why is Toyota penny-pinching here? It's about time to give the passenger the same comfort as the driver in a car like this. The driver is often younger than the passenger (long drives). How much could adding lumbar support to the passenger seat cost? The following two are features the 2024 Honda CR-V has. Ouch!! 3) BACK-PASSENGER DOORS that fully open, 4) BACK SETS THAT RECLINE Final comment: Car prices have increased considerably, much more than the cost of living. The shortage during COVID-19 increased prices, and since prices have not decreased, the supply chain issue has been resolved to a great extent. I sincerely hope Toyota will pay attention to these simple changes and bring to market a first-class winner!

9:02: Whoops! Instead of the Signia Estate, the JDM Sport is shown in the digital display. I'm sure that'll be fixed in the final product.

I’m currently leasing a 23 RAV4 and I’m 6’5 the space is barely accommodating but I’m getting by. I was thinking of buying this car once the lease is over but I’m afraid I won’t fit. Maybe I should just wait for the Land Cruiser.

I’m so glad I got my 2021 Venza Limited. At least my second generation, Venza offer, special touches like a power steering wheel and the stare gaze roof unlike this model and it has LED door seals unlike this model. And no heads of display? That’s a huge bummer.😢 I’ll keep my 2021 Venza limited.

We have a 2022 XLE and love it. Toyota had serious delivery issues with the Venza and they were rarely available on dealer lots here in LA. A friend wanted one after driving in ours and was told the wait time for a ‘22 XLE or Limited was 6-9 months. She went to Genesis and bought an SUV right off the dealer lot the same day. Hopefully Toyota will be able to deliver the Crown to dealers.

Illuminating only the bottom half of the “hammerhead” lobster claw headlights is the way to go. This one looks better than the Prius, Crown Sport, and new Camry However, that spindle mesh grill is an eyesore imo. It would look fine as a metallic grill, but as painted body paneling it’s bizarre

This is what the size/shape of second generation Venza should have been! Sad to see a name die out due to poorly aligned architecture with a platform mate in a cheaper segment.
