I noticed that you didn’t mention the Mercedes GLE 63s which is comparable but maybe not as fast or exciting but definitely more comfortable. The X6M/X5M is definitely an exciting vehicle to drive and fast, the X5M is probably my most favorite vehicle that I’ve owned but one of the biggest issues for me is that there isn’t much difference between modes such as comfort and sport . The ride is always stiff but on the other hand it’s also still fast in comfort unlike some others.

Ya I own the GLE Coupe.. and even now I don’t want this BMW… not the right taste.. it’s tuned that it’s as fast as a turbo GT and Urus and more luxury and comfort and bigger size than all of these SUVs.😊

What you say about jittery ride is 100% spot on. Great review. After 2.5 years of jittery ride and engine drama (just V8 noise) I'm swapping my X6M (Base) for a $90K Tesla Model X Plaid. I got the base in 2021 to save $10K and as I was warned about Comp suspension. No way I think this current year is worth $23K more than my 2021 non Comp. Great SUV but it beats you up if it's your only car. I still like the looks (from most angles)😂 Oh yeah, this thing eats tires. I go through a set of Michelin Pilot Sports every six months or 5-6K miles. Just be prepared.

So funny when iam in california i see kot of tesla cars in few colors and i am always suprised why are they buying this car looks like german soap holders from the 80’ s and am suprised how cheap the people they dont want to spend money on gas . For me tesla and the g wagon are the ugliest cars .

Of course I’d pick the x6 this generation it’s the best in the market look wise, tech wise and drive wise

The winter tires make a huge difference. Even with the stiff ride, its is just so much fun. for Icy roads I would take the Xdrive all day long. The stiff ride really does not bother me.

I back off when I've learned all I need to learn about the acceleration/sound (and always in the most controlled setting possible). Speeding just to speed isn't really appealing - it just gets dangerous on public roads.

I did one in the new X5 M, but didn't have time for X6 M - it'll be the same experience.

This generation looks the best. The front end is aggressive. Too bad they didn’t change the rear. Specially those small exhaust

I really like the generation X6M… especially in Aisle of Man Green over Tartufo with these wheels.😍 I appreciate that BMW uses black gloss around the exterior mirrors and rear bumpers vs the cheap black plastic Mercedes uses on the GLE AMG Coupes. And BMW has Digital Key!!

I am 6'4. I love my 23 XM, so much, I just ordered 25 X6M Comp. I love the look over the X5. It seems like X5 is all I see. The X6 just looks more aggressive to me. Plus this is my commuter, just me and my thoughts mostly. Have the wires High Country Suburban for when we need a box. You are supposed to use voice commands to change environmental controls. its very intuitive. I didn't think I would love this thing as much as I have. Never felt safer on Alaskan Highways. Only one speeding ticket in 1 year 23K miles. lol I never want to own another vehicle. The reason I order a 25 now, is because in 26 they are doing away with the twin turbo V8 in X6 & X5. Hybrid Inline 6cyl. No thanks. The Hippies are killing everything I love.

The first generation looked like they just propped a sedan up on bigger wheels. The newer generations look like an SUV with their own look and body shape.

Couldn't disagree more with your criticisms at the start. Wheel gap is hardly noticeable, love the body shape (not too bulky in the rear), and I especially love that color on the car. To each their own, I guess!

I do feel like bmw suvs like the x6m have to small of a tire and wheel I mean I’d go 305/30/24 front 345/30/24 rear or a square set up of 325/35/23 all 4 wheels and tires.

Wish they upgraded the steering wheel like the 7 and new 5 series.

I used to hate X6, but after the X4 and the new X2, I like X6 better. Still disgusting.

If price were no object I’d get the Porsche Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid.. but since money doesn’t grow on trees, I’d get the X5 M Competition for up to $80,000 less than a fully loaded Cayenne. I actually prefer the look of the BMW, too. Take the money you saved and put it into a Porsche 911 Cabriolet instead!

I'd take the M60i. Not much of a performance difference, but you save 30-40K!

590 horsepower so competition stopped making more horsepower they just want it to be in the ball park of competition

Have a x3m and love it......fast..?...270km fast as I've gone so far, think 280 max, anyway fast enough .....don't need 300kmh. Amazing car for the price. Wanna go 300km then you'll pay 300k for a car like the 911ts.

The tires on this vehicle are just way too small for the body size. BMW needs to do better in putting bigger balanced wheels on these cars. Imagine having this x6m on 23s or 24s that’s when the real beauty of this vehicle pops up fr

Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT smokes it, Mercedes AMG GLE 63 S has similar performance and has the interior quality of a Bentley and the Audi RSQ8 would give it a run for its money on all fronts with a nice discount
