As a gay guy…the whole pride has become obnoxious. A month, seriously? Of course they don’t show you what truly happens - meaning the vulgarity and sexualization. I’ve been to few years ago and it’s still seen till this day. We celebrate one day for Memorial Day yet the alphabet community gets a month for being brave, for being comfortable with yourself or blah blah blah. There’s been so much back peddling especially now with the push onto kids. No wonder there are many fighting back. We’ve gotten rights but as the book goes “if you give a mouse a cookie he’ll surely ask for a glass of milk”.

Pride parades are all different around the country. Gives the male escorts travel time on the "off days" so they can make all the rounds. And change their rentmen profile locations up front to set up appointments.

WTF. How come the TV station did not interview or talk to any Asian or Chinese? I am little disappointed by this. So many of my Chinese friends were in the parade and there was this big group of people from the Chinese Rainbow Network that participated in the parade but did not get mentioned. IN THIS WAY, REPENTANCE IS TRUE AND WE ARE NOT LIARS BEFORE GOD. THOSE WHO GO ON TO DELIBERATELY SIN HAVE NO FORGIVENESS, BUT THOSE WHO UNWITTINGLY SIN HE WILL IN NO WISE CAST OUT (JOHN 6:37). THOSE WHO SHUN SIN, HE HONORS.

Miss the contingent that other pride parades across the country host within the parade. 'Elder Pride' really humbles you. When you see the year, people came out of the closet. When you see 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's. It truly humbles you. You know they really had it hard. Survived AIDS, discrimination, paved the way. It also neutralizes the haters. Because proves LGBTQIA always existed.

Sisters of perpetual indulgence is nothing short of blasphemy and I take great offense as a Catholic. I understand they raise money for charity organizations, that can be done without mocking Catholics and our deep rooted and most sacred beliefs. They desecrated the very symbol that is at the heart of our faith by mocking the most holy cross where our lord Jesus suffered and died so that sins may be forgiven. They used it as a man stood in place of our beloved Jesus while pole dancing all over and around it. I pray Gods mercy. May the blood and water which gushed forth from his heart consume the world and enveloped us all in His mercy.

Years ago, as a youth, I was exposed to the gay community and spent some time in it, as a gay guy was infatuated with me, and tried unsuccessfully to convert me. Based upon my experience, the reason for the pride parades is that in their private lives, many are not fulfilled, and so they need the parades, the facades, and the group gatherings as a way of trying make up for it. One of the long time members of COURAGE, (a Catholic Group whose members acknowledge their attraction, but choose abstinence) went back to briefly visit his old community. A lesbian friend who knew him really well back when he was a gay activist, also knew that he was always deeply unhappy in the lifestyle, in spite of his being a vocal gay activist. She looked at him and noted that he was far more peaceful and happy as an abstaining Catholic than he had ever been in the gay lifestyle. The point is, if you are really happy living the gay lifestyle, do it, but if not, feel free not to. Don't let yourself be trapped in it, just because lots of people show up for a parade.
