The 2021 Cadillac Escalade is a Massive American Handsfree Driving Luxury SUV
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Over the last 20+ years, the #CadillacEscalade has built a reputation for itself as the benchmark American luxury SUV built to shuttle around wealthy families or celebrities. For 2021, the #Escalade is now in its fifth generation and @Cadillac has certainly pulled out all the stops with a world class interior, #SuperCruise handsfree highway driving, available range extending Diesel engine, and for the first time ever, an independent rear suspension allowing the 3rd row to actually be usable for adults.

The *self-driving* Escalade is finally here! Cadillac is also promising us an all-electric version with 1000 HP, 3 electric motors, and up to a 200 kWh battery pack by 2025. Let us know below if you think Cadillac has now made the new Escalade better than the current king of big American luxury SUV's, the Lincoln Navigator?

@@mattspeer01 but you are right, they could not have the Escalade's dash without a full redesign.. that's in the new Lyriq and there are no breaks in the screen. It's continuous.
I have seen a lot of brand new Escalades recently. They must be selling a ton of them. It looks absolutely stunning. I live that they brand the torque instead of the engine size. There are a ton of videos on demos of super cruise. Very cool!
My favorite suv yet
They couldn't make the CarPlay screen go wider because the screen isn't a regular rectangle. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto both need to be mapped to rectangular screen dimensions to retain touchscreen and display functionality.

Escalade is great and so is the review.
Excellent review, Sofyan! I hate chrome and glossy wood and I wouldn't want it in any vehicle that I own. It's an outdated look and ALL of the brands need to finally get that. That said, this new Escalate is an amazing achievement for Cadillac. I would like to have seen some new engine options, but at least the 6.2 is well tested and plenty powerful. If I ever needed or wanted a large luxury SUV (which I probably never will) this is the one I'd go with. Well done!

Sofyan! I am liking what I am hearing about the all new Cadillac Escalade so far. They are so far ahead of the current Lincoln Navigator it is not even funny. I am just wondering when are y’all going to test the diesel gas version of the Cadillac Escalade?
@martrellvideos7542
2 жыл бұрын
It’s a full redesign so you would expect the all-new Cadillac Escalade will be ahead slightly of the new Lincoln Navigator like how the 2018 Lincoln Navigator was ahead of the Cadillac Escalade from the previous generation.
GM did the really good job but it would have bee nice to offer rear seat executive package like cooled seats , power rear seats , power sun shades like they did on ct6
When looking at an Escalade next to a Lincoln Navigator I always liked the Navigator a little better. But with these new features and chassis improvements Cadillac has stepped up their game. The tech they’re putting into these vehicles is what throws me. I find it very hard to trust a robot to keep me safe doing 70 MPH on a freeway. Lane assist and braking assist and the other features can’t be 100% reliable, all it has to do is fail once or think they see something that isn’t really there can cause a lot of problems.
I see these in the wild now , it doesn't distinguish itself from all the other big GMs especially when they get the black painted grill... Like they look nice going down the road but they don't depend attention like the last one did

Completely agree on the exterior. Way too safe.. the platinum has the sleekest look imo. The interior also has lots of areas were it could have improved. Still tons of plastic, shinny wood trim looks cheap and synthetic. But overall a very nice caddy. Which drives better? The escalade, navigator, x7 or gls?
I wish second seat is a little bit wider…. I have already ordered one the Sport Platinum all blacked out
Wait the black wing engine is discontinued??
Do any sunglasses affect the self driving? Yours?
Overall nice vehicle. Front side marker light looks like an afterthought. Should incorporate in headlight assembly. Also "shark fin" over driver, could look better in another more balanced area. Prefer Lincoln Navigator ... Slainte' ! Cheers !

Agreed. Glad I’m not the only one that noticed the bland orange lights. Cadillac went backwards with the side markers as the Escalade had always had its own unique side marker lights. Now all three of GM 2021 SUVs (Tahoe, Yukon, Escalade) share the same side markers. Don’t know why they did that.
