The 2016 draft may go down as one of the most chaotic in NHL history but was it really? A seven year wait is usually a good enough time frame for re-evaluation so just how well did some of these players pan out and what have they managed to turn into today?

I was certain when Tkachuk was still there that Vancouver would take him. When they said Juolevi is screamed “WTF” “WHAT THE ACTUAL F***” and my friends who don’t know hockey were kind of baffled so I had to explain. I’m still salty about this.

I’m a Flames fan and assumed they’d take Tkachuk. Joulevi played on London as well, so I was sure it was happening when they said they were taking a player from London. I couldn’t be happier when I found out the Flames got Tkachuk
