Battle for Dream Island began as an animated indie web series created by two twin brothers named Michael and Cary Huang (when they were only around 10 years old), under the group pseudonym "JacknJellify". As the show's online following grew bigger and bigger across its several seasons still running to date, longtime fans of the original series would eventually be hired onto the JacknJellify team to work on the show. This was until an entire production crew was eventually built up for their series, even having their very own physical office in the Santa Monica Water Gardens used for production springboards and fanbasee meetups.
