I’m reading Five Broken Blades right now. Those sprayed edges pulled me in! 😄 It’s interesting but there are *so* many POVs that I’m struggling a little with it.

I don't know much about The Mortal Instruments series but I have heard that you are at some point supposed to bounce back and forth between the later part of TMI and another one of her series
