I'm so glad you made this video. You showed so many great bands. Once I saw where the Beatles ranked, I knew what would be number one. I definitely need more Ramones records and a few more Bowie. I will be on the lookout for that Live Bowie album. Take care and have a great weekend. 🏈

Another awesome video dude! I really enjoy seeing how deep your vinyl collection goes. Here are 5 of my takeaways: 1. I was waiting for The Dickies! I guess they don’t have enough variety of material? Not sure but know you love them. 2. You pegged a mention of my favorite Bowie album & song- Alladdin Sane, Panic In Detroit. Nailed it! 3. Trout Mask Replica- “that album sucks, dude” - classic Richie remark! 4. Anybody who can flow from conversation about Buck Owens into PIL is my soul brother! And you are! 5. I respect you too much to not revisit Bowie Live. I’ve had it in my head that it is a ‘bad’ live album. I must of messed up there and it will be on my turntable today. -----// love ya brother! Keep ‘em coming, you’re the best!

Hi Pat, great subject and list of bands/artists. I have lots or records by the artists you mentioned apart from Bob Dylan (can't sing - shame) and Buck Owens and also Black Flag and Red Cross/Kross. British punk for me - is it best or not? Early PIL with Keith and Jah Wobble is best for me. I also have a section full of The Heads, Joy Division and also Sun Ra. Best to avoid those Bowie comp cash ins especially the RSD release of World Of Bowie - that one really sums up the idiocy of RSD. Glad to see The Cramps was your number one - that Bad Music is fantastic, I also just got a great fanzine of their early gigs/pics/interviews. Cheers, Paul

That off the Bone is solid, i just dont like the cover art. I have the Gravest Hits EP as well and its thr best soundings Human Fly and The Way I Walk even over the 45s, the 12" is at 45rpm, so " audiophile" cramps lol 😆

It's a piece of sh*t. I think people claim to like it because other people claim to like it, but no one has the balls to tell anyone how shit they think it is. The only interesting thing about it is the cover and title. Dog sh*t music.

@@skutchwashere what you wrote is definitely part of the truth. There are many different groups of music listeners. 1. Group: people who say that they like a work of art because it is part of critically aclaimed list (kanon). They never really question if they really like it. 2. Group: people who confuse "interesting" with "like". They just like trout mask Replica because it is quirky and different. 3. Group: people that appreciate it as a piece of art because it tries something new. 4. group (mostly musicians) are bored by normal song structures, melodies, harmonies and rhythms. They love strange time signatures and music that is Hard to play. They tend to Admire music more then enjoy it. They more than the other groups like trout mask replica. All in all i think tmr is an overrated album. I feel what captain beefheart was trying to do but i just dont enjoy it. I dont think that this album is a Piece of s#€% but it is overrated.

I did a legit comparison after watching the refs ruin the Super Bowl. Bad Music For Bad People has 10 songs. 8 of the songs are on Off The Bone. Granted the two that aren't on Off The Bone are the last two songs, TV Set and Uranium Rock, which are both great. There are 7 songs on Off The Bone that are not on Bad Music. The four other songs from Gravest Hits, Fever, The Crusher, and New Kind Of Kick. Of those Lonesome Town is weakest. The inclusion of New Kind Of Kick puts Off The Bone on top.
