Back in March, I saw a graphic T-shirt in Target (in the little girls section), that had "Progress Over Perfection" printed on it. I remembering thinking I should tell James, but I forgot about it, until now. So I believe this is actually the second Glow Recipe product that you didn't like. The first was the old formula of that pineapple Vitamin C serum. The brand thanked you for your criticism and reached out to you after it was reformulated. The new version was much more to your liking, which is probably don't remember the old formula. I only recall because it left such a strong positive impression on me towards the brand. They were very gracious and forthcoming throughout.

Omg I totally forgot about that! That’s how I actually started speaking to them as a brand! They were so amazing about it and they were actually reformulating at the time!

Tested the orebella today, Blooming fire was the best. Its nice, I might purchase travel size in the future, but it wasn’t an immediate “have to have it”. I have a long wish list right now and I would put this one somewhere in the middle.

I’m curious to try it cause from a formulator perspective I know that the stick sunscreens are not easy to make! I’ve been between the whip cream sunscreen and the belief sunscreen and I like both for different reasons but want a higher spf since both are under spf 30 🥲

@@RoseyVamp Have you tried the Tocobo "Cotton Soft Sun Stick"? It's a Korean product that is SPF 50.

Coffee smells like skunk to me randomly when others cant smell it. I learned that the common denominator linking the two smells was a sulfer/hydrogen bond. Going down that rabbit hole, i found a body odor color wheel. It's not uncommon for people to smell mango as onion or BO around themselves or others. Some attribute it to long COVID or diabetes.

Yes, BO smells like onion skins. Weed, stinging nettles, cat pee all smell the same to me. Sour cream and chive rice cakes also smell like sweaty feet 😂

I know exactly what you mean about how some tropical flavors have an onion taste. There is a type of chewing gum that has that taste to me. No one else around me seems to notice it 🤷‍♀️.....thanks for validating my observation😊

Lolol your description of tropical fragrances is exactly why I hate coconut and cucumber scents. It triggers my ptsd of bath and body works fragrance covering up the smell of teenage anxiety. 💀

Describing the Chazza Tibs perfume as "a bit Claire's" ended me! These perfumes aren't cheap but the advertising is like it's aimed at 16 year olds.

The watermelon dewy glo looks like a lippie that my mom used to get it was some peachy watermelon thing in a rounded package like that and it made me so sad when I couldn’t find it when I got older. Can’t even remember the name but I LOVE that shape of container coming back. Esp on Mother’s Day so sweet.

The Glow Recipe Dew Balm SPF is awesome for my dry old face and looks great under several favourite skin tints but I can only imagine how greasy it looks and feels on someone who leans oily.

I like the look of the Byoma lip oil. I like that the package is squared off so it won't roll off my nightstand!

I have the glow recipe dew sun stick and it’s really amazing. Smells fantastic and fresh, and it glides on my skin. It feels so luxurious too. It’s great for my extremely dry and sensitive skin. I did find a dupe from Make Prem called the “watery sun stick” which was half the price from Style Korea- so I would definitely recommend this one for anyone worried about a greasy feel, as it felt very smooth and silky and not slimey at all.

Im going to try the Glow watermelon toner, im new to my skin care routine and am learning a lot (ill be 47 in august). I appreciate your humor and your personality, it's like having a friend chatting while i do chores. I also appreciate your twins content despite not using makeup, much love

I use the TirTir milky toner everyday and I have normal/oily, textured skin. They have a light version that may be better if you are very oily. I personally love both of them.

Before you even finished your thought about the mango flavor I was thinking “tropical” can veer over into “funky” sometimes

I freaking love Byoma and can not wait to see the lip oils appear in stores! This brand has completely transformed my skin.

I enjoy using the Glow Recipe sun stick on the high points of my cheeks and my lips. It feels much easier to glide across those parts of my face without dragging, unlike any other Korean or western sun sticks I've tried!

Fun story about the mango smell: I cleaned my gym shoes a while ago and then sprayed them with a mango scented fresh spray. It was supposed to keep my shoes from smelling like sweat for longer or smth. For ages after, I'd get a whiff of mango smell from my shoes and it smelled so similar to the sweaty foot smell they'd had before that it sort of ruined mango scent for me forever. 😂 I've never thought it smells sweaty before in my life but now I can't unsmell it. And no my shoes didn't still smell like feet when I sprayed them. 😂

I really love a lot of Glow Recipe's products! But as an oily-skin person I have learned that I need to be careful with anything that will make me "dewy," especially during the summer months. Even though I knew this SPF probably wasn't going to work for me, I have been eyeing it since it came out. You confirmed my fear that this product is definitely not for me. (I decided to try the Supergoop! Mineral Matte Screen instead, which my skin is loving.) Thank you for always putting out great, informative content. 🙃

Very interested in trying the Byoma lip products now. I have enjoyed the brand and find them a great introductory brand for my tween.

I really like the Inkey List lip balms. I find them equivalent to the Paula's Choice one but for a lot less money. I use the original non tinted every night. I just purchased the new tinted ones and so far so good. I don't mind the "taste" as I don't lick my lips. I don't keep them in my pocket so I haven't notice any changes to the consistency at all. I just bought 6 tubes, 3 tinted and 3 non tinted so I am good to go for a while.

The sun stick is extremely moisturizing. As a dry skin girly it was great for me. I’m glad it doesn’t smell and I always pat my sun sticks down.

100% knew EXACTLY what you were going to say about mango/tropical scents--i have the same issue! a lot of white wines (esp NZ Sauv Blanc) with "tropical" notes read as BO to me as well. so glad to know I'm not alone!! 😂

I have the Byoma lip mask and I love it. The applicator is a little big but this is best lip oil/balm product I’ve tried this year.

I already got the Laneige blueberry lip balm, I'm trying to use up my mango and grapefruit ones first tho. 😆 I couldn't use the Glow Recipe sunscreen because of the pilling. I can't just pat sunscreen on. And it was SO sticky.

sad about the glow recipe sunstick but honestly excited to smell all the new fragrances even if i don’t end up enjoying them.

When you mentioned tropical perfumes I knew exactly what you were saying. To me there are two types the first smelling like someone took their own wrist and wiped their stink along with the tropical sent on you. The second (and this I will notice more with skincare) it smells like it's spoiled fruit. It honestly makes me nauseous.

I didn't think a glow recipe would be bad . I absolutely love them to death and wont go without my watermelon niacinamide drops ever !!! It makes my skin glowy like a glazed donut . It doesn't look shiny but glossy like lip gloss and im living for it forever

I got all 4 minis of the ForvrMood perfumes, and i love them, but im not in love with the packaging of the full size bottles. I dont usually buy full size perfumes anymore, but i probably will buy the full size of NDA and maybe Hard To Get. I LOVE the packaging for bellas perfume, i wish the ForvrMood perfumes were more like that. They just seem kinda cheap to me, where bellas looks elegant and fancy imo❤

I’m so amped for when Orebella reaches the UK/Europe. As a fragrance junkie, I’m keen to try this bi phase approach which isn’t common at all. Plus if you follow Bella, it is very on brand for her wellness mentality etc.

I love that Orebella is hormone safe and alcohol free! Although there’s niche fragrances that are endocrine safe, this is the first one that’s easily accessible!

+ if you like margiela’s replica perfume line you’ll like orabella. salted muse is like jazz club’s earthy sister in the best way possible.

PLEASE can u do an updated sunscreen video for summer, maybe some of the ones going around on tiktok/kbeauty - no white cast and don't sting your eyes! everything breaks me out or stings like hell.

Im very interested in getting sample set of the Bella purfumes. I love a good scent and ADORE great packaging. Thanks for heads up on the sunscreen. I dislike that heavy oily look & feel. QUESTION fot you & chat. I have dark spots that have been treated nicly. However, so far 5 sunscreens in each make my nose run. Any suggestions on what to try ( reasonable price) for this summer. Anyone else run into this? Most of last summer thought it was allergies until winter where I skipped a day here & there. Ack! Any help would be appreciated. Just been watching Johnny & Kevin on Beautiful & Bothered review the Bella Hadid fragrances - they sound lovely and I’m so interested to go and test these. I’m so disappointed with the Inkey List lip plumping lip balm, I see no difference after using it since it launched - its hydrating but that’s all. I love lip balms so I even bought one of the new colours but the colour is barely noticeable and it still tastes horrible!

I had to return the Glow Recipe SPF stick. Way too greasy for me 😔 And I love Glow Recipe! Their products usually work really well for me. I miss their old sunscreen.

I agree with you about the B.O. smell with tropical scents. I no longer go for them because of it.

I LOVE the Byoma brand, and their lip oil is amazing.

I actually like the Inkey List Peptide Lip product. I don't have lips plumped up like a Real Housewives but I have noticed a subtle difference. I don't mind the smell

11:18 Do you a recommendation for a good (preferably vegan) sunscreen stick that is NOT greasy but also works? I use a sunscreen serum + sunscreen whenever I leave the house, usually cream gel sunscreen because I have yet to find a stick that doesn’t feel greasy and icky.

What do you recommend for rosacea? I beginning to think maybe my rosy cheeks aren’t just cute lol
