I played on XL2546 since two years, I really love the DyAC+ and the huge brightness of this screen even with DyAc+ on. Yesterday I received my VG27AQN and played with it all the evening on Warzone 2 with arround 200 fps. It was crazy good BUT I think ULMB 2.0 make the screen not bright enough FOR ME. Today, I tried without ULMB 2.0 and my GOD with OD on normal AND HOW MY GOD IT S BEAUTIFUL AND BRIGHT !!!! Huge games with immersive sensations ! 1440 IPS is so beautiful !!! I did not realise any blur problems without ULMB 2.0 THIS SCREEN with top end PC is SOOO GOOOD, I AM GONNA PLAY WAY TOO MUCH AND LOSE MY JOB 🤣🤣🤣😘

Hehe really enjoyed the comment thanks. Yes, ulmb reduces brightness. The new ultra fast ips monitors does have less blur but at that cost I would honestly simply wait for the OLED revolution. With OLED you get pixel localization brightness and ZERO motion blur due to low pixel response times.

This monitor just release at a bad timing where OLED monitors are releasing very soon this year. Still the PG27AQN probably a better monitor for me as I will be using it for both gaming and productivity, and no need to worry about burn-in and brightness issue.

Yah, OLED is the future right now, but it's extremely early for these monitors and we can't know how will they handle image retention and burn in. Can't wait to get one of those for a review

Yeah it was a really tough choice to make. I was really considering getting the new 27“ 1440p 240hz LG OLED but I just can’t order it knowing that it’ll be worthless once there’s burn in and I’ll have to get a new one.

Hi, Nice content, Lenovo Y27gq-25 is my monitor now, a 2K 240hz TN panel with G-sync module, very ideal for competitive gaming, however it's kinda outdated, i am planning an upgrade to either LG 27gr95qe-b or ASUS PG27AQN, it's a tough choice though, need some opinion, thanks and subbed.

I have the g1 OLED Tv and I would go OLED hands down, response times are better, no ghosting and amazing colors, I'm still worried about burn in though, so I would give it a few months to see what's up with that. OLED benefits would be far greater than 360hz

currently using the "best monitor from 2016" LG34UC79G-B a 21:9 34" 2560x1080 144hz 1ms IPS Curved monitor with backlight strobing but I think I wanna try a 1440p monitor but idk if I really need 360hz or if 240 is enough (mostly playing esport games like OW, CS:GO, Valorant, R6 Siege, Apex etc. All hiiting 360+fps exept apex 300fps cap :P)

honestly i did not see the difference between 360 and 240, so its very indevidual, and for me its kinda hard noticing the difference between 240 from 144, so i would say you are probably good with a 240hz, and its not a crazy deal breaker, i would suggest over 240 to PRO players that do that for a living.

Why not? There is no compatibility issue with any gpu, you need a good system that can handle 360hz with a higher resolution, nothing else
