this has nothing to do with the 19th amendment . Many women are fully capable of making rational decisions, you are just unconsciously biased. There are plenty of studies showing that the reason women are “more emotional” than men is because of socialization, which allows women to benefit from presenting their emotions while men are shunned for it, therefore they regulate their emotions more. Voters should be people of age that pass a citizenship test showing they actually understand U.S. history rather than believing everything they see on the internet (a quality extreme democrats and republicans both share). If you have never interacted with women, just say so, because these facts shouldn’t be so hard to comprehend. All the depictions of the angry annoying liberals you see on the internet are loud minorities.

I'm black, its extremely surprising that black men got the right to vote before women. Goes to show how low loop n the totem pole women were. Let's be frank when referring to a totem pole white men were (and still are) at the the top of the food chain. Let's be clear black people and women both have come a long way but of course there is more than enough room for improvement in many regards. I think Native Americans are owed more attention as well.

@yariiiyari

@mars lmao I don't even remember making this comment. But to reword this: the relevance/ definition of race is still based on social constructs, many of those constructs were established during slavery and Jim crow. I'm assuming that this comment that I made was referring to the Bhagat Singh Thind v USA case (1923), where they determined what exactly made a person white, by changing the definition many times in order to exclude natives, hence the creation of a distinction between races. So race is still indeed a social construct considering the fact that the definitions of certain races were altered in order to exclude and disadvantage people. If the definition of an idea can be drastically altered to mean a completely different thing just based on what one believes, then that idea is a socially constructed idea. But nice ad-hominem. What you said isn't any sort of argument and doesn't disprove my point either.

0:06 At the time of the writing, as well as throughout history, the use of the word _Men_ in this context was understood to mean both _men and women,_ it was understood by everyone until 3rd Wave Feminist started to reeducate for ignorance instead of enlightenment. Man = Mankind = man and woman kind = human people = The People. If you had asked a woman if they were equal to men from that era they wouldn't have even understood the question because, of course they were equal, not the same, they had different roles they played, but women as a whole would not have felt subservient. My mother certainly wasn't, nor my grandmother, and my great grandmother was a house-a-fire speaking about politics even before women got the vote, and was known for swaying the crowds to her way of thinking on a matter, she was a leader in her community that the politicians listened to and acted upon her advice.

this has nothing to do with the 19th amendment .

@Nikola Leviathan BLM started the riots, not women. Besides, if women didn't get the vote but minorities and Blacks did, it would look ridiculous to this day.

Because you were programmed at birth to reject reality and cognitive dissonance. These buzzwords you spew and the fact that you point these things out shows that the status quo remains for the time being the status quo.

@The_Descendant II nope... sexism actually started when people started farming. Because men are biologically stronger, they controlled the farms and considered women as inferior. Homophobia is because of fear and because some people feel the need to reassure themselves of their sexuality. Racism is just idiots who moved to America and killed people, then decided people of color should be their servents.
