I struggle to come back to this. It was my late aunt’s favourite song, I took her to see them before the pandemic in london and I’ll always cherish that memory of her getting to see them. I'm a gangster rap kind of guy but for some reason, listening to this song just brings me so much joy and jubilation! And I'll be honest, I clicked on this song out of boredom and I've never heard of this artist until now. I'm hooked to this song guys. It's incredible how a song could make someone feel this way!!

I had a girlfriend that I loved so much. She was the most perfect girl for me in every single sense. I could talk to her about anything and she would listen every single detail with attention. I once talked to her about my favorite band The 1975 and I told her how this music video used to describe my love life because everyone at some point get tired of me and leave me. Now that she's gone because of the same reason this hits harder and I just can't stop thinking of all the things that I did wrong. I miss you so much Valentina. I will always love you.

I haven't listened to this song in so long. but it was suggested to me yesterday, the same day that my best friend who i had feelings for told me he didn't feel the same way, and i needed this song as a sign for me to have a change of heart and start the journey of trying to move on. the lyrics hit so hard as i can relate to every single word while experiencing the actual heartbreak of forcing yourself to fall out of love with someone. That's what i love about the 1975 songs, they talk a lot better than i can

I love this song. It reminds me of my boyfriend, when I was totally in love in him back in September 2016, but he was very confused and unsure whether he wants to be with me. Back then the songs of 1975 helped me to get rid of my depression. Now, almost three years later, we are preparing our marriage in September 2019 and we are expecting our first baby (girl)... Love you, 1975 ! You are an incredible band, unique! Please make more music like this song

My own interpretation of the video:She found him, who was just like her (the clown face). The relationship was so good and he seemed to be a fun, amazing person to be with (the flower, the gun game, the dancing) But as they spent more time together, the first impression started to fade away and all the “fun” things he did, no longer had the same affect on her, they got old, and did not amuse her anymore. But he did not know this, so he was beyond surprised when she left. It’s like you think you’ve met the right person for you, but as you know more about them you realize they're actually not, you realize you've had a 'change of heart'.

I so miss my Dad. He was so into making sure every one got their birthday cards and gift. He was obsessed with making sure.

8 years later or even 16 years later, this will be on my playlist (if I am still here)

Survey: Does anybody else feel like 1975 make better music when they have a more depressing and/or dark tone? Examples: Robbers, Change of heart, Somebody Else, Menswear, falling for you, Medicine etc...(and yes chocolate is up beat but it still has a dark tone, even more so when paired with the music video)
