The Urus and it's Volkswagen Group counterparts: Audi, Bentley, Porsche & Volkswagen SUV's all came from the same platform and were designed at the same time. It’s basically the same vehicle in different variants to accommodate different markets

A great review but a couple of points of order... The Aston DBX does not fight in the same ring as the Urus - I have the Urus and my friend has the DBX, he drove them back to back and described them as a supercar vs a sports car. The actual 0-60 of a Urus is 3.3 secs (see the CarWow review), the DBX is 4.5 secs not 3.8 as mentioned here. Not that anyone cares. MPG is poor but not as bad as mentioned here - it is the same as RSQ8 etc in fact. But yes, as ever, it depends what you are after...

A fair point - the inclusion of the DBX is more a nod to its exclusivity. There are SUVs with similar stats to the Urus (X5 M Comp, Trackhawk, etc) but they lack the exclusivity. Aston’s DBX satisfies that point, so I included it as a rival. It may not be a performance rival, per say, but as you and your friend demonstrate, the two vehicles can be cross-shopped. Awesome video. I put my order in last month. All black exterior, terra Asia interior. Not a fan of this exterior. Interior is nice tho. Another added option to 2021 is the gloss black packages on the rear. Finally can get rid of the grey. Also, the aluminum inside you can make black now. Regarding it being refined when in strada , and a beast in corsa is exactly what I wanted

What a super truck this very cool very good I like the color.

I think it is the paint color, it would be a great car in White or Black, or red maybe.

Very Crisp n to d point review. My question to u. Is it really practical in terms of a 300-400 miles drive at a stretch. M not bothered abt d fuel economy. Need ur honest reply. Drive safe...

@@MilesPerHr Nope m not talking abt d cargo space. I just asked that can v go on long drives of abt 300-400 miles at a stretch,say wid 4pax?M not bothered abt d fuel economy... Also forget d cargo.

Maybe by that front they wanted to keep that face of lamborghini but to me it makes it looks less aggressive as compared to its rivals

Pretty good video. Carbon Fiber works with black, white, gray, silver and red. Blue? You have to "plain jane" it. Also: That interior configuration is VERY DRAB.

Awesome review! I think the blank panel in the trunk was for optional motorized tow hitch. again URUS is not for people who wants a HP to cost bargain. No real URUS buyers will settle for a RSQ8 just because its 100k cheaper. I am heading to Newport Beach to place my order for a 2022 model today!

Great review as always. Im personally not a fan of the Urus exterior. The carbon fiber fender surrounds seem odd. Just such a busy design. They essentially had the Civic Type R designers work on an suv. If I owned this I know I would stab myself at least three times a day getting in and out on the door point when opening. Interiorwise, the worn Alcantara really looks bad. I think Audi did this much better. Not this biggest fan of a touchscreen for climate controls when the vehicle is in motion

For me: 1.DBX 2. G63 3. Urus

Impressive SUV for sure, and I’m sure its profit margins will do wonders for Huracan, Aventador and their successors. In this segment, I’d just get an RSQ8 or a Cayenne Turbo, though, considering they’re 90% of the Urus for like 50% of the price and probably function better as the daily drivers they’ll likely be 99.9% of the time.

I really like this color but not the carbon.

Those turnsignals are so annoying ! I will never signal a turn when i get to drive this.

The major problem with the Urus is that VW Group did not do near enough to differentiate it stylistically from its much cheaper brothers and sisters. Thus you are left with a 240,000 dollar Audi RSQ8. I would never buy a Urus and people who actually buy them at sticker have more $$ than brains...

Great review, thanks. Was kind of waiting for you to stick your neck out & say "yes/no for the money spent this is/isnt the best suv you've driven". Reviewing your test is it fair to say that this isnt your 1st choice suv?? If so, is it because of the overbearing "mother" company input??

Not really worried about offending any automaker. It’s hard to say a simple yes or no because everything is relative. If an extra $100K over vehicles like the RSQ8 isn’t a big deal to you, then the Urus is the way to go. If not, I would choose another option

I am 15 years old and i already know how to drive this...I want to buy this car when i grow up

Lamborghini needs to put a different engine in this. This car is a rip-off, giving the same engine that in every VW performance car. They could've gone with a 5.0 Supercharged V8 like what jaguar and Land Rovers have. Would sound much better, be louder, and be much more EXOTIC, rather than something that really isn't all that unique.
