Landry Farre has caught the attention of Barcelona supporters since he started showing up at first team training sessions on a regular basis during April!

The fans were totally amazed by what they saw:

Farre made a good impression on the Barcelona coach, who was blown away by his physique and ability to compete at first team level, and thus the 17-year-old kept being invited to train. Who is Landry Farré?
Landry Cephas Farré Miró was born in the Ivory Coast, on January 1, 2007, although he was adopted in Spain, which explains his Catalan surname and accent. The boy quickly decided on his career path and started playing football since childhood - the first clubs in his boyhood career were P.B. Collblanc-Sants A.E. and Peña Barcelonista. The gifted youngster received an invitation to La Masia in 2015, but due to the transfer ban imposed by FIFA on the Catalans, his move finally took place only in 2016, when Barcelona were allowed to register new players.
Landry made a very fast progress in La Masia and together with Lamine Yamal they were almost the main stars of the team, which easily captured local championships, international competitions as well as La Liga Promises tournament, regarded as the top level among Spanish youth teams.
You see, youth football teams start with 7-on-7 formats, so Farre had been developing as one of three central defenders in a 3-2-1 or 3-1-2 formation, where he also had to be a full-back, both on the right and left - moreover, Landry could also operate as a winger, since he had the speed, strength and technique to do so.
Anyway, the boy was developing so fast physically that some might even suspect some kind of fraud with the documents, though Landry's case is completely straightforward - at a certain point in his growth, he was significantly ahead of his peers in that regard, including Lamine Yamal. This is why Xavi can't leave. If there was any other manager who didn't come through la masia they would not be doing this. They would just be buying players and not growing them. This right here is what makes Xavi great.

Seems like a good wide centerback/ defensive full-back. I dont think he'll fit well in the first team as a full-back, but as a centerback i would like to see him play
