Ойын-сауық

Long Melford Holy Trinity Church, a Grade I listed parish church, is one of the great Suffolk churches which stands at the north end of the village. It is widely acknowldeged to be one of the most magnificent parish churches in the country. A church has been on this site since between 1467 and 1497, it was almost entirely re-built in the 15th century.
The present 118 feet high tower dates from 1903, the original tower being destroyed in the early 1700's, with a Georgian brick built replacement around 60 years later until the current tower was erected around it.
