Great work. You got it done in under 12 minutes. The extra power almost put you in the corn field off that ramp you set up. You seem quite happy with the upgrade. I did the same conversion on my Granite and I was quite pleased with the extra power.

I've run 12t traxxas motors in BPROs at 24v and not . Had magic smoke
It never goes that easy for me lol.nice work fella👍

I just picked up a Vorteks chassis so I'm in the process of getting all the parts to outfit it, what do you think about those surpass hobby motors? I was thinking of going with a 3660 3100kv (or maybe the 3500) on 3S along with a spektrum 100a I took from my infraction...what you think

The ESC was mighty toasty for sure, but yeah the motor just cooked. Not really fair to it tho, 3x 5000mah 3s Lipos in a row would cook most things 🤣

@@disciplinerc I ended up using a blx185 works ok geared it 18/54 goin to test it out...I kinda scavenged her esc off her car week ago to put in a 1/14 then I get a call she's coming home end of the week and wants to run card this weekend
Very enjoyable vid. I have an old Turnigy Trackstar 120 esc and 1900kv motor I used in a Ofna LXe1 and was wondering if any of you think I could repurpose it into my Mega? Definitely going to stay on 2 or 3s. Ps. Subbed. @disciplinerc

Yeah man, that would work great. Up the pinion size a bit though, the stock is 17. With 1900 a 28-30 would haul!! 🤘😎

It's pretty modded since, runs about 60-65mph. But I will say that the 3sBLX platform with a good battery will run just under 50mph on average 👍
