An unmanned combat aerial vehicle, also known as a combat drone, colloquially shortened as drone or battlefield UAV, is an unmanned aerial vehicle that is used for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance and carries aircraft ordnance such as missiles, ATGMs, and/or bombs in hardpoints for drone strikes. These drones are usually under real-time human control, with varying levels of autonomy. Unlike unmanned surveillance and reconnaissance aerial vehicles, UCAVs are used for both drone strikes and battlefield intelligence.

@@erolozer3971 No i do not it said it is a air to air and air to ground combat jet fighter. why unlike every other drone it has side air vents.. do you know what these are for. are so jet engines can be provided air during high g manouvres during dog fights. Without these a jet engine is starved of air in high g manouvres.

@@skp8748 1. It is the statement from the American establishment itself that they wish to decrease the Indian dependence on Russian defence hardware. 2. American defence contractors has pitched F 16 Block 70 and F 18 in the Indian MRCA competition several times in the last decade. 3. Recently India bought 31 MQ 9 a and MQ 9 b Reaper drones from US. Also, Indian Navy had already been operating two leased MQ 9 b for more than two years now. 4. There were talks about F 35 involvement in MRCA competition as well but those were certainly scraped because India acquired S 400 from Russia. Also, last year America showcased F 35 in the Indian Defence Aviation Expo. 5. Despite knowing India would reject the offer, US still requested India to join Nato+. 6. Apart from drone deals India has bought several military hardware from US, from naval Aewacs to artillery guns and ground forces equipments as well. 7. GE F414 engine deal with India is about to be finalised. This is most important as jet engine tech of US is the holy grail. Considering the above facts, I don't think US would reject future drone deals if India asks.

Lol Ghost Bat is getting a block ii upgrade, meaning different chassis and design to house missiles and bombs. Australian Defense minister just made a big speech about it. a new secret drone never before seen will be in service with Australian RAAF next year and is still top secret and not made public. Ghost Bat is these vidoes was just a test bed for the AI to see if would work or not.
