NEW CRUISE SHIPS 2024
In 2024, there will be a variety of new cruise ships from most major cruise lines. @RoyalCaribbean is launching Icon of the Seas. This vessel is even larger than the current world-record-holding Oasis-class ships. With several neighborhoods, the largest water park at sea, and dynamic entertainment spots, it is undoubtedly one of the best family cruises of 2024.
Not to be outdone, @princesscruises new cruise ship in 2024. Sun Princess sets sail in February and will be the line's largest cruise ship ever constructed. Sun Princess will feature several firsts for the brand, including all new dining options and entertainment. The cruise line also redesigned all the staterooms for this new Sphere-class vessel.
Royal Caribbean has a second vessel that tops our list of the new cruise ships of 2024. Debuting in July is Utopia of the Seas. The sixth Oasis-class ship will be the latest version of this popular family cruise ship with all the signature dining, entertainment spaces, and neighborhoods found on other vessels in this class, like Wonder of the Seas.
@DisneyParks has another triton-class ship hitting the high seas in 2024. The new Disney Treasure will have the same layout as her sister ship, Disney Wish. But the vessel has some completely re-imagined public venues, like a new Haunted Mansion bar, a brand-new Coco restaurant, and all-new cabins inspired by several Disney and Pixar animated films.
Luxury cruisers can sail on the new Explora Journeys II when it hits the waters in 2024. There is also Atlas Ocean Voyages World Traveler. Offering lux-expedition cruises, this adventure yacht is home to only 198 guests and literally takes cruisers to the end of the world.
Cunard will have its first new cruise ship in over a decade. Thus, the new Queen Anne tops our list of best cruise ships of 2024. This new ship will contain a new dining concept, bars, and lounges but still honor the tradition of the cruise line's historic classic cruising experience. Premium cruise line Oceania Cruises also has its latest ship, Oceania Vista, which might be a perfect selection for those seasoned travelers.
Several ships debuted at the end of the year and are certainly some of the best new cruise ships of 2024. Among them is @celebritycruises Celebrity Ascent, the 4th ship in the Edge class. With many elements of her sister ship Celebrity Beyond, this latest version is perfect for couples.
Families might want to hop on Carnival Jubilee. This massive ship from Carnival Cruises offers thrilling attractions, some of the best casual dining at sea, and a few new surprises for those VIFP club members.
Freestyle cruisers may consider a cruise on Norwegian Viva, which just made its way to the new homeport of San Juan, Puerto Rico, at the end of 2023.

I'm a member of the Magic Castle in Hollywood and I can't wait to cruise on the Sun Princess. The Magic Castle had a group cruise in October called the Magic Castle Conjurors' Cruise on the Discovery Princess. We brought our own magicians and had both public and private shows and lectures during the seven-day cruise up and down the Pacific coast (we even had our own excursion to a magic show in San Francisco). It was so much fun that most of us (there were 91 in our group) signed up for the next Conjurors' Cruise in November on the Sun Princess before we left the ship.

How do you visit the pearl in a wheelchair?
I bought the package because I drink top shelf. The last time I went out and had a shot of Patron it cost my date 12 dollars...and that was more than my meal! I went into culture shock. I will get my money's worth for sure😊!

Glad to hear it. Everyone’s drinking habits are different so drink packages are sometimes a good value and sometimes not.

Icon of the Seas and Princess's Sphere class are all-new. The rest seem to be new sister ships of existing classes.

I guess that was their idea from the start because it looks like a massive floating luxury kindergarten with all the eye watering clashing color schemes. It's a monstrosity, like 3 year olds were let loose with tons of paint.

Where is carnival Firenze?!! I am going on her in late 2024
I was booked on Brilliant Lady for April 2024 before they cancelled all sailings. Hoping they can post the itineraries soon, even if it won't be ready until 2025 so we can rebook!! Seems weird that they have no idea when the ship will be ready when other ships that aren't coming out until 2026 are already open for bookings.

I wouldn’t cruise on any of these ships if you paid me.
The Sun Princess looks a lot like Royal Caribbean or NCL

Piece of friendly advice: if you don't want people to think that you are paid to make these videos, try not using advertising language. Your entire monologue sounds like you're reading out advertising leaflets. "Exquisitely garnished cocktails".... no normal person speaks like that, I'm sorry...
Nope, most of these ships aren’t right for hubby and I. We don’t appreciate having children on board, water parks, thrill rides, rock climbing walls, and all that stuff that younger folks would like. We’ve sailed twice on Viking; once to Antarctica and just recently to Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania. When we cruise again it will on a line with similar type experiences and age groups.
