Honestly love Goat format. Feels a lot more like chess than modern Yugioh in the sense that there’s actual interaction between players each turn and the pace is a bit slower.

I love goat format but it's debilitating... Modern you have answers with handtraps, with side decking it's pretty skillfull... Getting ripped of 3 of your cards and playing a thousand eyes restrict mirror for 30 turns doesn't feel like chess but more like your soul exiting your body

You are right that the old art style of these nostalgic OG cards is something to always be remembered, but eh....... idk man the modern artists that Konami hired sure are amazing especially with a lot of these female cards. Yes I love Anime girls lol ok but still, I personally can't imagine seeing I:P Masquerena, Ecclesia, the Witchcrafters, etc in the old art style.

Just started playing goats a month ago and I’m addicted. It was the format I last played as a child so it’s close to my heart. Card art is so nostalgic and iconic. Sick deck list! I wish I could get higher rarity, but going all commons even though I’m a grown man with a job😂

All commons are great too. It spares you from warping holos problems and cheaper budget so you can tweak it with less cost 😂

I love playing goat format. The slower aspect really drew me in due to modern being fast fast fast. Love the vid Ruxin!

Love seeing the cards in your decks, I played in 2005-07 - so much nostalgia haha. I dont keep up with the goat meta so dont have much advice on the new deck

Would love to see some remote duelling. Getting back into Yu-Gi-Oh (I stopped in 2007) so some years have passed and not sure how to play out some more the new mechanics. Also GOAT format for us older veiwers might be awesome! Thank you.

GOAT format is honestly one of my favorites. I remember growing up and playing in that format at the time and it was always a ton of fun.

I was a little too young to really play this format back in the day. Been playing a bit with friends though and it’s very fun!

Man I loved that format, I used to run a Tomato Control deck using swap stuff like mystic box/creature swap to steal their things, run into the tomato and then go into something that you might need like Don Zaloog, Newdoria/Dark Jeroid for more removal or even another Tomato! such good times!

The work u put in finding these tins and packs then opening them with all of us is really appreciated u really do put the hard graft in compared to alot of other KZreadrs in some of the rare pack in tins u just seem to continuously open on this channel the work and even knowledge insane to watch in that's why I watch u over all the other KZreadrs keep up the good work sire it really is appreciated 👌

That why I kept all my old 1st edition card from back in the day. Because of goat format and my local store is starting doing a goat format tournament but unfortunately I won't be using my 1st edition unless I don't have extra copy

Goat format used to rock in the past my friend used to play it, but unfortunately I never got the chance to assemble as I was missing a lot of pieces. Damn, I didn’t that it was still used till recently. As for your expensive deck you could: - Swap Newdoria for Ashura. - Swap Cyber Jar for Morphing Jar. - Swap spirit reaper for Marshmallow (light monster for chaos). - Include Mirror Force and Royal Decree. - I prefer magic cyclinder over ring of destruction. Or in case you want to play ring of destruction combo it with spell of pain. I feel that it lacks the drawing part (apart from PoG)- believe in the heart of the card Ruxin 🙂. Your warrior deck seems very good but I think it could be optimised if you introduced special summons in e.g Marauding Captain apart from that Command Knight is always good for warriors 🙂. Great vid by the way, hopefully we can see you duel in the near future.

Goat actually kinda got me back into yugioh I still dont have a finished deck but Goat is actually really fun to play I think it has way more thought behind every step which is fun

The style of the old cards is impossible to beat. The brown color where the effect is placed was much better than the white one on newest cards

I've started playing goat in November and from then haven't played advance at all. That's how good goat format. I say that your deck is pretty good.

I always played with cyber jar in my sideboard never the main. Now about a year before the 05 list when CED was legal it was considered a staple imo but not afterwards (although many would disagree, this is my opinion)

I would love to start dueling in this format, started picking up yugioh recently and want a deck for goat and modern formats.

That high rarity deck is sick!!! The first one is super nostalgic and quite rare!! Chaos warrior is a good deck, non at the same level, but cool as well!!

Wow😱 the cost of some of these cards are insane my soul. Super awesome to see and definitely learnt something new. Definitely love the older formats of yugioh just so much nostalgic cards used and jut loved the original series and collection of cards. The best in my opinion 🔥

Goat format got me back into the game about a month ago for the first time since 2008.

Classic cards just bring up so much nostalgia. Those were the days!

I don't actually have any experience with goat format since none of my friends play yugioh, but I got one of them into the game and hope we could play it one day.

Since Time Wizard format is now a thing, I wonder if now we can have duels that simply allows us to use all of the cards from the pre 5ds era. Yes all the GOAT format cards everyone already knows that was only until August 2005 but I'm talking about now adding all the cards that was released from September 2005 to August 2008 right before The Duelist Genesis released (September 2, 2008). It sure would be interesting to truly see old school duels using the rest of those cards.

Goat format (and Reaper format right after) are easily my favorite formats of the game since it was the era when I really started getting into competitive YGO as a whole! My irl Goat deck isn't blinged out or anything, but I do love rocking my Zombie deck against friends 😉 Also Ulti Pot of Greed makes me jelly. One day I'll cave and buy one!

Experience with goat format: Was at friends house who used his ancient yugioh cards to level his ikea kallax. We got them out & upgraded his deck to a goat Armed dragon deck. I put together a Warrior, a Garzett & a Chaos deck. Been playing every week since.

Been watching your vids for like a year now and this is the first time I heard you talk about gameplay😂 Really dig your passion for the game though and hope you find a current format deck you enjoy too, as complex as it is now.

Nice deck Ruxin, especially that Chaos Warrior. I have some tech that can be used in Warrior. Zombyra the Dark is pretty solid DARK Warrior beatstick card and searchable by ROTA. Another card is Mataza the Zapper, another Dark Warrior that can really be annoying and unexpectedly give final push, while also prevent some cards like Brain Control, Creature Swap, or Mind Control. The only problem is, i don't think both of them are available in holos, only Rare, haha.

I actually just started playing local tournaments in goat format about 2 months ago and it's an absolute blast! Its like playground yugioh, except you actually know what you're doing 😂 my favorite goat card gotta be dark paladin. My favorite yugioh design ever.

I really like these old school cards. I played a lot of them back in the day. I am not so much into Goat format though. I just like the newer playstyles more.

Goat was 100% imo one of my favorite times playing competitive yugioh. My first real big tournament was the SJC in Charlotte where I played a zombie phoenix deck and went X-3 (not one of my better deck choices but I still had fun). Was literally my first big tournament and I legit fell in love afterwards continuing to play up until teladad (when I quit). I looooved tsukuyomi "flip flop" control (probably my favorite of goat decks). Ok, that's enough to enter the giveaway hopefully haha
