Game is still horrible on Easy. But you can at least get through the story. Which is nothing great. Funny enough , you can change the difficulty at the last moment before the ending & get the "good" ending. Speed runners have 100% broken this game. The runs have some of the cool tech going on.

The rings are a very minor reason to why the game is terrible. Funny thing is the game has multiplayer and I’m sure most people never played it

So Superman 64 did something that Sonic Frontiers would do 23 years later, where you play almost everything on a lower difficulty, then switch to a higher difficulty for the final portion of the game to get the true ending.

The PS1/N64 era was so awkward. We had gems like Resident Evil and Ocarina of Time, but at the same time, we had Superman 64 and Bubsy 3D...

Superman 64 is one of those games where you absolutely despise no matter if you're a Superman fan or not. I do hope that we can have another Superman game that is eons better than that but unfortunately, due to that dumpster fire's poor reviews, there's a pretty sad high chance that we'll never see Superman getting another solo video game, ever happening again. Edit: Oh wait. I just looked it up and there actually has been some Superman games after this piece of trash. The most recent one being from 2006 and is based on the Superman Returns movie.

the major problem with doing a good superman game is the powers there not going to want to make us really op so they would need to make superman weaker which isn't a good thing so until they are able to balance it we wont get a good game for a while if at all

Man, how would someone make a Superman game and make it actually fun? You're literally in god-mode all the time, how would one make it actually challeging. And that's why I kinda hate Superman, he's literally at an advantage over everyone else all the time, he makes more sense as a villain

Loved quest 64, played through it a few times as a kid. I thought the combat system was really innovative for it's time.

The PS1 version of Light Speed Rescue was way better than the N64! It’s a 3D action plat-former with rescuing people in creative levels based on natural disasters like floods, earthquakes and wildfires while also fighting monsters at the same time. With way better Megazord fights! Hell the GameBoy Color version is way better than the N64 and that’s 8 bits!

Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue (2000) Wasn't One of my favorite seasons of the 30 year franchise that title goes to Time Force but Carter was badass and Vipra was hot (her acting was atrocious)

I will not tolerate any Quest 64 slander! It was an okay game but wasn't a bad or one of the worst for the system. I remember playing it as a kid and it was fine. Course the fact it had no map and it was easy to get lost sucked but it is what it is. I think if the devs put a little more into the game, they had something to go off of.

Nostalgia goggles are nice. I remember thinking Hylid on the NES was a great game when I was a kid and still feel that way about it sometimes. But compared to other similar games that were out at the time, it just wasn't hitting its mark. Like, ever.

Should have replaced Quest 64 with a far worse game like Carmegaddon 64

Was it the only N64 game you'd played...? :P There were worse N64 games, but for me it's the game that made me sell my N64. I was way into RPGs and, with the SNES's legendary games, I expected the N64 to be miles beyond that. Then it got Quest 64 and that was pretty much it (except Ogre Battle, later on) - FF7 was getting released on the PS1 so I traded my N64 for a Playstation. The RPGs on it felt like the next-generation version of what made the SNES so great for me, so I was finally where I wanted to be. :)

I did have the power Ranger game. It was one of the few games we had. The others being pokemon snap and another arcade like game that I can remember. All I know is that you're in a small arena and you shoot at enemies. But yah I distinctly remember one day that I was playing power rangers and I straight up fell asleep playing it. I also remember how I was fucking confused with one level and I had no idea where to go. No map or mini map, so I had to follow the walls in order to know where to go.

To not have Carmaggedon 64 on this list is criminal!

I actually loved Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue on the N64. I will say that it had its moments, but it was a good game, IMO.

And so many of them were made by relatively unknown developers. Many of the big names had moved on to the PS1, including Squaresoft (ITS OKEI THO WE GOT QUEST SUCKSTYFORKTHISGAME! :D). Most of the stuff Nintendo worked on themselves was pretty great - Mario 64, Zelda 64 (both games), Pilot Wing 64, even StarFox 64 was pretty decent. Their games were *hands down* the highlight of the console. It's a shame other developers couldn't follow in their footsteps.

Who knew that Superman 64 would be number one on this list? Mojo always loves to pander and conform to popular opinion by being so predictable and unoriginal. That game has topped quite enough worst N64 games, worst licensed video games ever, and even worst video games of all time lists already. WE GET IT. We really don't need to be told why it's the worst of them all over and over and over again. Especially when there's either nothing new to say about it or nothing to say about it that has never been said before.

One game I remember having for the N64 that completely sucked was the Xena Warrior Princess fighting game. The controls were awful, it didn't look good. The N64 South Park game where you fight turkeys with snowballs is another great example of a really awful licensed game for the N64.

Love Quest 64, but I literally have never heard of War Gods. Wow, I learned something today.

I like Earthworm Jim 3D. I know it is not the best game but is very enjoyable, I complete it 100% 2 times and I never bored. I remember only one frustrating part, but only one and not the entire game.

It’s not terrible, but n64 has too many great platformers to waste time on it. Super Mario 64, Banjo kazooie and tooie, Conker, DK64, Rayman 2 are vastly superior games and then you still have the Goemon games, Rocket robots on wheels, Kirby crystal shards, Yoshi story, Mischief makers, bomberman hero, Glover and even the gex games and chameleon twist games which are better

In my opinion Dark Rift should also be on this list.

Glad I barely touched any of these! Played Clayfighters (God knows why) and Quest 64 was probably the only game I don't agree with. It was pretty fun IMO.

My childhood friend had Clay fighter 63 1/3. We played it….rarely….and it still wasn’t very fun.

Elmo's Letter Adventure and Number Journey both are my #1 picks for all time worst N64 game. There's no gameplay whatsoever. You just walk around and touch letters/numbers, and you can't do anything else. That's it.

Same with Quest 64. Absolutely loved it.

I actually liked the light speed rescue game…… granted haven’t played it since 2000 lol

It's a shame about Batman Beyond as between the anime and game it seems like such a missed opportunity. I thought the cartoon was amazing.

Clayfighter has a fun vibe though...

Clayfighter 63 1/3 is no perfect game, but it's so ridiculous it's enjoyable with friends. The controls are confusing, but I don't understand fighting games other than Smash anyways.

Ive borned year 2002 and now im 20 years old so i never havent nintendo 64 but its awesome there is nintendo 64 collectionds in nintendo switch online expansion pass. Well, in your case, as they say "not all superheroes wear capes", LOL! Super man definitely wears one and by his video game track record, his should be laced with kryptonite and he should be strangled with it! Warner Bros. should be strangled too with it cause I think they sabotaged Titus towards making superman 64, since Titus was French and not like E.A. or any other choice that WB realized they wanted post-deal with Titus!

Hexan 64 is worse than Superman by leaps and bounds! And to top off the insult it was one of the N64 carts that sold in excess of $60!

I sold my N64 to buy a PS1 when FF7 came out. Never looked back. ...Half of the N64 RPG library is Quest 64. Half of it. How many other consoles can say that?

Definitely don't agree with Quest 64.......... I really enjoy that game....... not the greatest game of all time but it was solid........... I probably played through it at least 10 times over the years.

It was confusing and boring AF too! shoulda ported Herc's adventures from PS1/Saturn! Come to think of it, wasn't the Disney Hercules game on 64? I sure as hell cant remember, and suddenly too lazy to google search it, just need Herculean strength to do it! i vaguely remember at least that being a little fun.

lol note only little 388 n64 games give or take probably some exclusive region ones i think, of those only 100 or little over hundred those are great games, the rest decent, or so so games, and rest are crap! Still looking at original nes libary pretty good since had 700 lot their games were crap!

To be fair, the game kind of opens up once you get past the start. Still a garbage game not worth defending, but it's nice to know it's not all ring-fetish-so-deep-it-makes-Sonic-weep and "Hurry Sup-" [textbox is taken away from the screen and you have 5 seconds to complete the (now unknown) objective] from start to finish.

Why do people keep talking about Earthworm Jim specifically on Genesis as if it wasn't on SNES at the same time? and omfg did anyone involved in this video even do actual research? Because clearly nobody involved knows a damn thing about Batman Beyond. Yes, the game sucks but the show is awesome & is about a future Batman who's actually trained by Bruce ( and sorry for the spoiler but Terry, the Batman of Batman Beyond, is Bruce's son thanks to some meddling from Amanda Waller & ARGUS ).

Clayfighter 63 and 1/3 I had good memories with. I legitimately played it like a competitive fighter and thought it was great. The controls worked fine, but I was a little disappointed because it could have been on the SNES and I wanted a 3d game. Quest 64 was kind of a diasppointing and boring RPG, but not the worst. I already know before finishing the video that Superman 64 is on here. Oh wow yes. I agree with Blues Brothers 2000. I was going to say that. I was going to say power rangers because I played it briefly. I got bored really fast and have no desire to try it again. I would also like to add Mia Hamm soccer. Yes I was right about Superman 64
