Super mario kart for the SNES has the BEST and tightest controls of any game in the series, and unlike the newer games, the game doesn't drive itself nor does it have the dang elastric AI or item modification.

I like how they complain that figure 8 circut has noting in the track only to then say that they hate the puddles and the rain in neo bowser city, which are literally the only hazards in the track.

Neo Bowser City really doesn't belong on this list, since it's a pretty original idea, being a dystopian future city that can be thought of as a reference to the 1990s Super Mario Bros movie. Honestly, it's one of my favorite tracks, and I'm glad it was brought to Mario Kart 8.

I actually like Neo Bowser City. Yes, it's a very difficult track, but it has a cool, blade-runner style aesthetic that's quite unique for a Mario Kart track. Also, I've seen it as an honourable mention on an old WatchMojo list of the best Mario Kart tracks, so it can't be that bad

Absolutley nothing wrong with Banshee Boardwalk on Mario Kart 64. Literally all it took was a bit of skill navigating the sharp turns but it was soon easy enough to get a grip with.

I think the GBA screen shaking might have been intended for when you were in rough off-road terrain, but for some reason the ice courses used it by default? Also, it being on the GBA's small screen may have mitigated the 1-pixel shaking effect.

In my opinion, I consider Baby Park to be the best Mario Kart track ever and the worst, haha. It's just pure mayhem, and so unpredictable. You can dodge all the carnage and finish in 1st, but if you are really unlucky, you can finish in dead last. Truly a masterpiece, yet such an incredible simple design. Great list, a few choices are debatable, but seriously Figure 8 is by far the worst track in the series.

I absolutely love Rosalina’s ice world, it’s a beautiful set up and the music is beautifully done. And in general it was amazing that Rosalina had a course.

Pretty positive that they did. The course isn't flat as paper anymore. The straightaway where the Start/Finish line is, is on an ice bridge. There's a jump midway through the course. And oh yeah, most likely no random shaking on the screen.

I think this list has mostly been mojo having a problem with racing on ice tracks from what I've seen IMO. I personally love racing on them, it provides a challenge to me and I manage to come first place every time

There is no such thing as a bad track in the Mario kart franchise. For example Bone-Dry Dunes from MK8 is a fun track to drive plus it has dry Piranha plants.

Why is Neo Bowser city on this list? The over-saturated city that rains like Seattle is a unique concept and like they said the track layout was pretty good too. A slippery surface alone isn't enough to mark the track especially when the track has a wide road to race on, and the one turn has never been an issue for me, didn't even know there was one without the guard-rail.

I feel like y'all are judging these courses way to harshly, and most importantly, how freaking dare you put Rosalina's ice world, Yoshi falls, Mario circuit and neo Bowser city on this list. Those are the best tracks in the series.

I literally have all right to argue over this list: 10. Although the track may not be as memorable, the track is still a desert track and is better than some other desert themed tracks. Its difficulty is up to par with the Special Cup Difficulty and it is not a bad track over all. 9. It is a basic, starter track that does not have to be good, figure 8 circuit, although very basic, isnt even bad and gives off the vibes of Nascar in a way. 8. Mario Circuit on the Gamecube is more memorable than others in the series, it was remade in wii and has no flaws within the layout. 7. My personal favorite, but this track's difficulty is also to the limitation for the special cup, yes physics on mario kart 7 was poor, but that is not a factor to degrade a track put on the console at the time. 6. A good, basic ghost track with the difficulty perfect for its cup, yes it is basic, but they wanted to keep the theme of Ghost Valley with this one. 5. Sadly, this is the one I agree with, although it isnt that bad of a track imo. Just get good ig? 4. Snow Land only had its screen shake as the negative in the whole track, the layout is still fun and it got a massive update in MK8DX 3. Not my personal favorite, but this track still is not bad. Visuals are nice and I understand why people wanted it back in MK8DX, it was one of the fan favorites at the time of its release. 2. Another starter track that is still good, it got remade in one of the best selling Mario Kart Games, and it was a track not a lot complained over. 1. Vanilla Lake 2 is just another SNES track, some of them are not good but that does not take away from an opinion on snow tracks, their icy physics and cubes are not the best, but they are updating it in Tour and it does get presented better. If you want to make a list of hated Mario Tracks, dont have it on opinions of your crew, but have polls to show which one is the worst, scatter a bit of tracks around with other track themes and not 3 of one theme. Dont judge a track for just their gameplay and also apply visuals towards it. And if you start talking about a track, make sure to only speak the negatives and not any positives to the track, this will keep the opinion on point.

First track and they've already stopped using reasoning. "Chances are if you don't get snapped by one of these (bone piranha plants) you'll get hit by another racer's item." As a wise man once said, "WELCOME TO MARIO KART!" Items are a good chunk of what makes the game stand out. If something that can happen on every track is a reason a specific track isn't good, that just takes every bit of legitimacy out of this top 10 before we even get to #9.

Figure 8 circuit not having any hazards is the point. It's the beginner track to introduce you to the game before FLINGING you onto cheep cheep beach and especially before the sheer chaos of stages like Waluigi Pinball, Airship Fortress, Peach Gardens, and Ds Rainbow Road

Pretty sure this was a programming oversight that somehow made it into the game. They probably designed the game to shake the screen if you were "off-road", and then when they made the surface ice instead of road, the game read it as "off-road". It's kind of funny how a single missed-exception could have made a series of tracks vibrate that didn't need to.

Personally I agree with that vanilla lake is on this list. But why is Rosalinas ice world on the list???

Neo Bowser City is one of my favourite tracks out there. The soundtrack is supercool, and the part the S-shaped turns gives you a nice challenge. I'm glad they remaked it, in 8 it looks so amazing. Ever been in a car, or driving a car in a city in the rain in the night? It's so calming, and the rain driplets on your tv screen makes it so magical.

Neo bowser city is not a bad track at all. The music is amazing and the track to drive on especially on 200cc it can get pretty challenging.

I have never understood the dislike for GCN Mario Circuit. I think it feels right at home with the classic Mario enemies as obstacles, and the music is some of the catchiest in the series

I think Banshee Boardwalk would be amazing if brought to MK8 Deluxe, with it having upgraded graphics, better physics, and they could make a few more obstacles!

How is figure 8 circuit so low on this list? It is easily less enjoyable/interesting than some of the others that are higher up on the list.

Rosalina's Ice World, Neo Bowser City and Banshee Boardwalk aren't bad courses, they are tough courses. Just because a course has different terrain and or hard turns doesn't make it a bad track. Snow Land makes sense because of all the shaking, and Vanilla Lake with its ice blocks.

Neo Bowser City and Rosalina's ice world are amazing tracks.

Snow Land is coming back for Wave 2 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass and so far the remake doesn't look half bad.

Nah, I love Rainbow Road. One of my favourites actually. I like how it's a nice relaxing drive after the mahem that preceded it with some nice shortcuts. Also the music, for me, is the best out of any level. Respect your opinion though. You're not the first to say it.

Even tho figure 8 circuit is a very bland course, it’s one of my all time favorite Mario kart courses, its simple and straight forward

There's nothing wrong with Neo Bowser City. The scenery looks fantastic. And the fact that Bowser owns a city and a kingdom at the same time looks and sounds like a great concept.

I love Snow Land BECAUSE it's difficult to drive, but it's not completely merciless. Also has a good couple of shortcuts to profit from. Loving the 8 Deluxe version as well :D

Other than agreeing with Figure-8 Circuit and Yoshi Falls being boring, most of these tracks are pretty good honestly

This list definitely has some questionable choices. 1. Why is Figure 8 Circuit so low considering that other boring tracks are at least better than it, especially with Yoshi Falls being #2. Both should have been swapped. 2. Banshee Boardwalk's really fun and atmospheric, dunno what you're talking about. 3. How is Neo Bowser City bad? As another comment already points out, it's really unique visually and provides for a challenging experience due to it's sharp turns and slippery roads. 4. Congrats, you jinxed yourselves with Snow Land. 5. Why _shouldn't_ bad tracks get remakes? That's a chance to actually make them good and freshen the less original ones up! 6. I know Bone Dry Dunes isn't one of 8's strongest tracks, but it's at least more original than the likes of Desert Hills from DS and many uninteresting circuit tracks throughout the series. 7 (hehe, fitting number). Same applies to Rosalina's Ice World. Also the ice physics aren't even that bad.

So, I was playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe a month or two ago. I was trying to get three starts on the 150cc Specail Cup, and I was getting immensely frustrated as i kept have they vicoty stolen away from me. And I was complaining about my frustration, my sister asked me a profound question: "Why are you getting mad at Bone-Dry Desert, when it's Rainbow Road your keep losing at?" "Because every time 1st Place is stolen from at the very last moment," (and I am not kidding there, it happened to me more than once) "I have to play the ENTIRE Cup again, meaning I have to play every track in said Cup, including Bone-Dry Desert. Doesn't matter if I keep getting 1st on that track, I don't want to play it over and over again!"

At the end of this video, all I can say to you MojoPlays is “get good.”

A few that I can think of that are worst Mario Kart tracks are: both F-Zero tracks, Animal Crossing track, Waluigi Pinball track, Ribbon Road track, Airship Fortress track, Dino Dino Jungle track and those are the only tracks that I can think of right now.

GBA Snow Land just came with the MK8DX DLC wave 2, and it actually became enjoyable

The only real bad course on this Vanilla Lake 2, because of the ice blocks, other than that, no. The other courses are fine, something tells me the watchmojo staff can barely handle 100cc.

Literally I can only agree with Figure 8 Circuit, Bowser Castle 2Snow Land being on this list. Most of these courses are fan favourites, none of these are debatedly 'bad'. Mojo really went and put Neo Bowser City and Banshee Boardwalk on this list.

This is straight up a bad top 10. MARIO CIRCUIT FROM DOUBLE DASH, BANSHEE BOARDWALK, BONE DRY DUNES, ROSALINAS ICE WORLD, NEO BOWSER CITY. ALL OF THOSE TRACKS ARE SO GOOD. And why the f is figure 8 circuit #9 when it should be lower?

The trains are cool tho but not the track

Bone dry dunes is way to over hated. It has a great layout with some fun ass turns. It’s looks great. The anti grav is cool. The music is great as well. No clue why people hate on it so much.

The video's alternate name should have been called I hate ice physics the video.

Banshee Boardwalk, Rosalina’s Ice World, and Neo Bowser City are good

Some of my opinion’s worst tracks (not all in that order) include * SNES Mario Circuit 1 * N64 Moo Moo Farm * GCN Baby Park * DS Figure-8 Circuit * Super Bell Subway

No track is bad. Except toads turnpike.

I am honestly baffled by some of the choices in this list, but most of all - I am convinced this list wasn't just made by someone who doesn't actually play that much Mario Kart, but by someone who wants a very specific experience from Mario Kart, and doesn't realize that the game has experiences outside of that. 1) Bone Dry Dunes is a very technical track with some of the best uses of intricate side-roads of any MK8 track. It's a tan desert, but it's a blast to drive on. My theory is it was too difficult to get the hang of for the person making this list, and ended up on here because, rather than learning "that sharp turn is coming up", the person making this list just plays what's happening on screen, then pays zero attention. 2) Mario Circuit (GC) is another perfectly fine track with nothing terrible about it... I'm so lost as to why it would be mentioned at all. It's got some great turns and some iconic moments that would be duplicated in further tracks. 3) Rosalina's Ice World is good? There's nothing here that isn't seen in other Snow/Ice courses? That is to say, why pick this one and not any of the others if it was the layout or sliding that bothered you? This seriously feels like "shot in the dark, I'll say this ice level, and I'll repeat over and over ice is bad because I don't like it, even though nobody else seems to complain about it". I've read in the comments "reads like someone's younger brother who's salty", and I can't get that out of my head now. 4) Neo Bowser City is, without a doubt, one of the top 10 tracks in all of Mario Kart. This would be like telling someone "Mario 64 wasn't a good Mario game" or "Lockout isn't a good Halo map". It's unquestionably one of the greats... this is beyond confusing to see here. I have a theory that this entire list was written by someone who doesn't like Mario Kart Tracks that APPEAR simple (like Figue-8 Circuit) because they become bored very quickly, as they don't understand how to do well on a course like that, because they don't actually KNOW the mechanics of the series (drafting, drift boosts, hopping, deliberate positioning, bumping, ect). But since they don't actually pay attention when racing, they also don't like tracks that are too difficult. The mention of sliding, sharp turns with hazards, or hazards that change things up like bumps, got mentioned, and it just screams "give me a track with greater than 90 degree turns, is smooth, and don't make me get hit by an obstacle at a turn because that gives me the impression I've slowed down more than I have." This was just a series of conclusions made from ignorance, that was then presented like it was Objective Fact... Also, saying MK has a bad track is like saying "but this pizza has sausage instead of pepperoni on it". Yes... and?

What do you have against Rosalina’s Ice World and Banshee Boardwalk. Sure there are annoying things that are on the tracks, but Those two are two my favorites! There aren’t many horror tracks in MK8D right now, and we don’t have a Daisy or Rosalina track in MK8D! I hope those two come back in the booster course pass

You forgot one.....Rainbow Road on Mario Kart 64 was soooooooo boring and the most boring of all rainbow roads with absolutely no challenge during 5 minutes☹

in the footage shown, it seems clear that the driver/player doesn't have much experience with drifting. there are quite a few stages you all called annoying/difficult that actually arent that bad

Did anyone when remember that Wuhu Island track in Mario Kart 7 that had a waterfall glitch that transported you to the top of the mountain that leads to the finish? Good thing they patched it up otherwise it would've been in on this list.

Figure-8 Circuit in MKDS is also the track that introduced the world to snaking.

I'm more disappointed that Baby Park wasn't on the list but the nerve to put Yoshi Falls on the list is just crazy.

Bro Rosalinas ice world IS FIRE I love hoe you can avoid the water completely if your fast enough or if you have a mushroom. I doubt it'll be put in 8 but if it does I'll be happy.
