One time I was at an oceanside party at night in a house full of people, overlooking the moonlit ocean and the power went out. It got dead quiet. I went over to the grand piano and started playing Moonlight Sonata and everyone just had to sit and listen in just total darkness except the light from the ocean. It was mesmerizing. I’ll never forget the moment.

Beethoven hated it and never wanted it published, it was published after he died. The original was called Bagatelle and then he wrote what is now known as Für Elise. He wasn’t happy with his second attempt either. Today it has to be his best known and loved piece along with his 5th symphony.

Starting at the piano and then rising the camera up to look at Vinheteiro staring at the camera had me chortling.

When I was in chorus in high school the choir director said she didn't mind anyone playing the piano before class started, but she forbade anyone from playing heart and soul because as she put it "everyone plays it, and I'm sick of hearing it". She wasn't too thrilled with me for playing chopsticks either but never told me to stop because it wasn't heart and soul.

YOU CANNOT PUT BACH'S PRELUDE IN C MAJOR IN THIS VIDEO! This is sacrilegious! That piece is the most incredible work of tensions and chord progressions ever! It can NEVER be overplayed!

You didn't add chopsticks. That was how we knew my mom was getting frustrated while learning a new piece. We would suddenly hear chopsticks coming from the basement and we would all giggle.

I, like most I suspect, recognized them all. Prelude to The Well Tempered Clavier cannot possibly be overplayed ....especially with the D.R.E. add on!! Smashing 🎉

I love piano bars (jazz/bossa nova style). In my opinion, the most played songs are; - Lullaby in a birdland - Fly me to the moon - The girl from Ipanema - Piano man / Honesty / Just the way you are - Unforgettable - Over the rainbow But I'm okay. I feel sophisticated every time just because I love them!

Oh, that's too funny! I didn't even realize I was not on Vinheteiro's channel. Then when Lisa came on, I thought she was making a guest appearance, until I then looked at the channel name. Very clever. I love it! Those songs may very well be overplayed, but for a reason---they're great! Ok, well, maybe not the knuckle song, but it's the first thing a lot of kids learn.

Believe it or not, that's the first time I ever heard "River Flows in You." OTOH, I never knew that the "Knuckle Song" had a name until now! I was surprised that you didn't put "Golden Hour" on the list, as it's been getting a lot of overplay in the past year. Throughout the years, different songs have been overplayed. Nadia's Theme from "The Young and The Restless" was horribly overplayed in the mid to late 1970s, for example. I was taking piano at the time, and when my teacher wanted me to learn it, I almost gagged on the spot.
