scary fact any idiot with a methlab can make nerve agents capable of killing thousands dirty bombs dont need extreemly radioactive substances , depleted uranium ground to a powder inside of a thermite reaction would be enough to fairly permanently contaminate a large area , depleted uranium is used by the USA and Russia in armor piercing and bunker busting munitions the account of broken arrow incidents in the Soviet union is largely unknown even to the IAEA - it is possible crime syndicates, terror groups or nationaalist militias in several former soviet states have nuclear weapons - at least 4 were suppposed to be in Ukriane before Moskva sank (that might have nuclear torpedos on board) Anthrax spores are almost as common as mold spores - cultivating lethal spores needs the right kind of spores and some time , unit 731 documents from Japan and several documients from WW2 british experiments are public on how to cultivate anthrax as bioweapons anyone with a cold calculating mind and a high school degree can potentially kill thousands sociopaths and psychopaths make up abaut 2.7 % of population...

Like a mirage, the universe only appears to be expanding. Very old photons have really lost energy because, during their travel, they have emitted gravity shockwaves, and not because of expansion. So, the big bang never happened. A basis for this theory comes from the fact that photons must emit gravity shockwaves. That is because photons have a small amount of gravity, which is obvious because photons cannot escape a black hole. So, billion-year-old photons have lost a large portion of their energy as gravitons. Therefore, gravitons must be the dark energy, forming 68 percent of the universe. We call this dark energy because it can escape from black holes, and is not visible. Probably, dark matter, forming 27 percent of the universe, is actually old photons that are travelling randomly in the universe, and they do actually have gravity despite what "liberals" claim. For example, some "liberals" imagine global warming is being caused by CO2, but we know that convection limits warming, and so they are wrong in that theory also.

The "most bizarre" Science fact that I know? That SO MANY people, for some reason, think it's "cool" to reject Science. Self-deprecation aside, (yes, I'm okay with and completely understand Self-deprecating humor, as a sufficient way to disarm people in conversation, about ourselves.) It goes further than that. People, especially is some very specific regions or areas, for whatever reason believe that Science is some kind of Religion or High Ideal, that's intimidating to their sensibilities because it's presented with a certain sense of aloof "do no wrong-ness." (for lack of a better phrase 😇) They cynically reject it, if it doesn't align with their personal indoctrination, in particular, especially. And a growing number of people are turning away from it as if the methods and tools of Science, (that enables their very day-to-day lives, in the first place lol including allowing their use of cellular phone/social media technology etc.) are a toxic side-effect of a Liberal, leftist "woke ideology." Causing people to ignore advice and consent from individuals, (or groups,) who have spent their lives studying a particular subject, and are therefore in the best position to offer reliable information, in favor of "doing my own research," or whatever. Things like Pandemics, the Global climate impact of over a century of increased atmospheric carbon levels, etc. don't _care_ what political party you identify with, or who you voted for. Facts about Nature, the World, (and Universe,) we inhabit are ONLY truly understood by our primate brains because of the efficacy and application of the methods and tools of Science. Science literacy is also the single most effective inoculate against charlatans, con artists, and anyone else who would try to B.S. you. Pull the wool over your eyes. Having as clear and unbiased understanding of the physical world, and the laws governing it, have literally kept us far more than simply viable, as a species. They've allowed us to achieve what no other living thing on this Planet, (or anywhere else as far as we know, so far,) has ever even comprehended possible. Not only has Science allowed us to create a technological society, use written and spoken language, engineer our way into longer life spans, and even travel to other Worlds, it's given us, the application of Science, the edge by allowing us to understand what any of that means to begin with. That's what surprises me the most, that people can allow superstitious beliefs or cynicism to reject Science, let alone reject Science because they think its "trendy" to pretend to be stupid, or whatever. Most of what we know, about the World we live in, is a product of the objective application of the methods and tools of science, collecting data and following it wherever it takes us. And, it's taken us to a World where we can live long, healthy lives in relative comfort and safety, and raise our children to do even better, if possible. Especially compared to how we lived before, when we were hunter/gatherer tribes running from predators in the plains and savannahs of Africa lol give me the 21st century, please. 👍😅 (I'm just sayin') _"Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities."_ ---Voltaire 1765 ✌

Good question! I'm no professor, I will try to explain the best I can. Galaxys indeed are big things, but nothing can compare to the event of the big bang. Motion began, well, at the beginning, stars formed because of gravity pulling things together, compressing clouds into stars, stars began to have mass, attracting each other and colliding into bigger things. At this very stage, the stars did not follow the course of the big band explosion, they have influenced each other into their new motion sue to gravity. It's true that objects tend to turn around something big, like galaxys, but their movement was long ago influenced other stages. Imagine you let go a bag of marbels to the ground, they will follow the initial motion, but eventually they will colide and set new courses of motion. Imagine thins with massive black holes.

Stop fear mongering, modern nuclear reactors are incredibly safe, and technology is actively being developed to make them meltdown proof (through using thorium). You have a higher chance having a bomb dropped on you by the next insane dictator or having your water supply poisoned by irresponsible coal and fossil fuel based power generators then ever suffering from a nuclear reactor meltdown. Emissions that are so small they're negligible combined with reliability and fuel sources that will last us at least a thousand years makes nuclear the best choice. Renewables are unreliable, expensive, take vast amounts of space and are heavily dependent on the climate of the region they operate in - inefficient and unreliable. Nuclear solves all of that.
