M.2 SSD will be my number recommendation especially if you have a lot of games or is a ps plus subscriber If your SSD don't have a built in heatsink, I'll also recommend heatsinks that are designed for PS5 like Sabrent or Elecgear. My ssd is wd sn850 but not the heatsink built in, nothing wrong with a compact 3rd party heatsink but i also bought and installed the sabrent heatsink.

Not a number 1, but I'd always recommend getting a console specific dust cover if you're like me and fully powerdown the console after each session. Obvs not appropriate if you have it in standby mode where ventilation is required. I think it definitely helps with dust build up, especially in hard to access areas of the console. Other than that, definitely a good pair of gaming headphones is a must.

Playstation 5 💙. I was lucky to get a Playstation and I would recommend an extra controller and a charging dock for them as the battery life isn't the best. Great Video!

adding onto this, go into your settings and set the controller light to dim. it will save you battery

The battery life is good if you actually don’t play like 7 hours I only play max two hours at a time

Battery life is fine Plus you if you got a second controller and the dock you have literally no reason to be talking about battery life lol Keep one charging while you use one

battery’s good for me, and i play on a desk setup so i can easily just grab the charger and resume playing.

Loved the video. With the headset recommendations, ever since I switched from my Arctis 7X to my Turtlebeach Stealth 700 G2s, to the Astro a40 TR w/ the MixAmp Pro TR, there's zero comparison. The only way up from there is a set of audiophile headphones and a dedicated USB mic. Definitely looking forward to getting those wood controller holders and icons though.

Arctis steels are my top tip!! It's the best accessory I've bought by a mile. The noise police are happy too, happy wife, happy life 🤓 Playstation 💙

I love my OG PlayStation logo colourway for the PS Logo stickers. Gives it that nostalgic ps1 looking vibe... as for the rest of the accessories it's gotta be the Scuf and the Headset on the essentials list

After almost 2 years I FINALLY was able to secure the ps5 bundle today online on Walmart, BEYOND EXCITED NOW lol, it doesn’t get here until beginning of july but i cant stop watching videos on ps5 stuff lollll

PS5 💙 ; I would def suggest grabbing the charging dock for extra controllers. It’s super essential and a must have!!! I really love the wooden PlayStation icons 🔥

I think a decent headset is the number one accessory. Just for the added immersion and sound quality whilst playing. The rest are nice to haves I feel. That said I have just got the black plates and am looking at the Arctis 7P+ to go alongside my 7X's for the Xbox.

I’ve never had a good headset for a console, they are all either insanely bulky, or just have crappy audio. I can never seem to find a really good one and i want to for my ps5

@@Platinum199do more research and be prepared to pay more money. I've had my hyper x cloud 2 headset for about 3 years now and it's a very good headset audio and build quality. At the time it was the most I paid for a headset and the difference was immediate. Im currently about to upgrade headsets so I recommend watching alot of videos and reviews from multiple sources. I've heard a lot about astro a50 so far so this is what I'm currently leaning towards buying. They are $300 so I'm gonna do more research before buying. Good luck

@@JERM92 if i have to pay $300 for good headphones for the ps5 I’d rather get a better speaker setup if I’m honest. Wish the ps5 just properly supported Bluetooth. I have a really good pair of headphones I got for just $99 but the ps5 doesn’t connect to them due to having no Bluetooth audio support

For like a year I used the logitech and the steelseries but they were just too uncomfortable and made my ears sweat a lot a they gave me a lot of headaches.. so recently I switched to the apple earphones since I wanted to give them a go and LET ME TELL YA.. THEY ARE SUPRISINGLY BEAUTIFUL.. I would have never thought! the sound quality is literally comparable to the high quality headsets I had.. ZERO HEADACHE AND JUST TOO COMFY yessir (they even support 7.1 surround and it works amazing I play a lot of fps games and they work just as good as the headsets I had wth! I would have never thought, its crazy lol just for 20 bucks you’re going to get a premium and almost complete earphone..)

You nailed it on the 7p+ I got those wit my PS5 and I have to charge them like once every 2 weeks the battery life and sound is amazing

The controller case is a must. Dust can get inside of your controller and will start malfunctioning.

As long as u keep ur controller off your desk and keep things clean it shouldn’t be that big of a problem.

Also as a sidenote, really like the look of the blacked out charging station and currently in the process of painting mine. Here’s hoping it comes out looking good

Apart from a decent headset I feel like thumbsticks for extra grip, the basic one on the controller is fine but the extra grip and texture does wonders while holding the controller in longer sessions

Thank you for this video. I recently saved up money from My parents and I’ve wanted a setup because my gaming setup isn’t the best but this reality helped.

That light gray entertainment center with the wooden sacred symbols looks really clean 👌

I’ve recently purchased something else. A bigger battery for the controllers since they totally don’t last long. Best upgrade besides extra internal storage in my opinion.

I recently just got the PS5 with Dualsense midnight black. A good start for my Gaming setup :).

Definitely going to get some faceplates and vinyl skin for the glossy center. PlayStation 5 💙

I've been using the astro A50s for almost 3 years and with my ps5 since launch. I have owned the 7ps and imo they are so bad compared to the A50s. For me it was the lack of volume. I didn't even know the A50 don't support hdmi2.1 but I can even notice. I'm really waiting on that next gen astro in any case. For now il just use my a50s and soundbar on my gigabyte auros 43vu 📈

I have my one laying down so the dust pretty much just goes into the plate, i just give a quick wipe every now and then and the dust catchers on it do the rest of the work

Playstation 5 💙... Best console generation, for me anyway. And I've been gaming since NES and original PS. Fell in love with gaming all over again 💙

I have seen several of these PS5 top accessories videos, a lot of them suggesting aesthetic stuff like colour plates that are just a waste of money and none of them mention 2 of the most basic and helpful accessories to protect the console and extend its lifetime: a dust cover (specially if on vertical stand) and a surge supression plug in. Go figure.

Playstation 5 💙. I think ps5 is improving and improving every month I seem to have no issues with mine but need to definitely start upgrading it and the matte is my go to choice as I have a full razer setup it will go well with it

Another great Headset to buy is the Razer Kraken V3, they have great sound, are comfortable and also look great as they have RGB lights in them

A charging dock is a must for a ps5 slim owner cause if you wanna use the regular charging cable the port it's right above the disc drive so changing games you gotta go around and under the cord.

I have the Sony's charging station, one extra controller, 3 headphones which are the Pulse 3D, Sony MDR-ZX110 and the JBL Tune 600 NC, and a Sony Bravia KDL-32EX525. I am looking for upgrading my storage with an internal ssd or with a external ssd. I am in love with the wooden docks!
