I live in Alaska there’s no lack of sun Only in the winter of course

I’ve been to Alaska on a cruise before and let me tell you, it was beautiful and amazing, 10/10 would go again. Also the cold would probably help with fursuiting I would think.

Oi Mr 'no one lives in Ketchikan' I'll have you know my family is from there and owned the one cornerstore and was a third of the population.

True story I have a friend who lives in Farbanks and there have been days where his weather is hotter then here in central Nevada.

a plus with the extra sunlight would be for those growing their own food, more sun equals bigger crops both in yield and size of the what ever you are growing. look up pictures of food grown in Alaska it can get pretty big.

I’ve been to anchorage Alaska, and I loved it, wish I could live in Alaska.

I’ve lived in Alaska so long that when I went down to the lower 48 it was 63 degrees and while everyone thought it was cold I thought it was really warm

I miss JBER, but I don’t miss driving every morning from Chugiak.

I'm from Oklahoma. And lemme tell ya, the area that I'm from we rarely get tornadoes, and as for earthquakes we only get like a little shake. It really ain't much, you hardly can feel it.

Texas, which is arguably larger than Alaska, is just the inverse of Alaska. Basically, it's always cold there. And inversely, Texas is nearly always hot. I should know. I live there. Our "winter" is just two days in the wintertime where the temperature drops below 60°. Every other day, it's either 60-80° or higher. (I've seen water boil on the sidewalk after mere moments of contact.)

Here in Michigan we get very few natural disasters so that’s one of the good things about my state 😊

Oof... I live in village located somewhere in the Yukon... But Anchorage is my Hometown 😄

I will say that Alaska has better weather than in my town. I barely get to see the sun durring summer. I also have only two season here Winter for 9 months and rain for the other 3. Sometimes I think I am in Alaska. Also I live at a higher elevation than Denver.

I love the cold and always loved it, plus I always wanted to explore the wilderness of Alaska since here in PA its pretty bland. Oh, and I hate the sun, beach, heat, ocean.. ect. Stuff that deals with regular springs to summers here in PA are miserable in my opinion since, once again, I hate the sun and all of the heat. My favorite temperature is that 20-30' Fahrenheit range to 60' degree Fahrenheit. Now best part of wanting to move to Alaska is having to hear everyone around me call me crazy if I'd ever want to live up in the used to be Russian state. This is extra stuff that I wanted to add; I hate tropical areas or hot. I wouldn't survive a day in such an area.

I mean, tornadoes are scary until you've seen what they can do in person, and then it's pretty surgical. Tornado goes through extremely narrow path taking everything. Now, I've been in almost every major earthquake in the 1980s and 1990s in both California and Oregon, and I can safely say, earthquakes suck way more ass than tornadoes, because it flattens entire cities at once. Hell, Alaska's still fixing damage from the '64 quake and the Miles Glacier Bridge was only repaired in what, the mid 2000s after people had to drive on an improvised ramp over a collapsed section of it for only 50 years....

Alaska is really neat, lived here my whole life- I just wish it was more LGBTQ+ friendly. (I think Anchorage is a little more friendly than where I'm at) Happy to know there's some other furries around though :3 would be amazing if we had a con!

I want to go to Alaska, not stay. The main reason is I want to go on a moose and brown bear hunt. But hearing about the fishing in Alaska, it's legendary. And yes, I realize I'm watching a furry video. I'm a strange furry, I like hunting, fishing and the outdoors but I also love animals. @@SorenSladkevick I'm not really a trophy hunter, I hunt white tailed deer for meat. Alaska would be a once in a lifetime hunt, but I love that they will package any meat you can't take and send it to villages that need the food. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one that does this.
