#4 & #5 will resolve 90% of people with this issue, #4 is even more important than #5 and proper nutrition will make #1 void, people don't realize that if you get the proper nutrition through proper diet, stress usually takes care of itself because your body has what it needs to prevent stress from building in the first place.

Sometimes one doesn't have control over stress! I lost my full time job during the 2009 Recession, the car broke down, and my husband had a heart attack and needed triple bypass. All that happened within one month. I have palpitations since 2006. My MD raised my Metropolol dosage again and again, didn't help. All tests always within normal range. Last week l was told l might need pacemaker. I have changed cardiologists four times, but l never feel well. I am 73, female.

I also have tachycardia. I take a beta blocker called Carvedilol (Coreg). I’m on the lowest dosage (3.125mg) twice a day. I was still getting frequent tachycardia with my beta blocker and my electrophysiologist performed an ablation on me and it fixed my SVT. You should talk to your cardiologist to refer you to an electrophysiologist. It’s a heart doctor that specializes in arrhythmias and the electrical components of your heart. Tell them you’re interested in doing a cardiac ablation. You can look up cardiac ablation procedures on KZread. Also, things that have helped me is drinking teas that relax me, like passionflower, valerian, and chamomile tea. One other thing that has help me is buying essential oils that help with tachycardia. Lavender oil helps with that most of the time.

How to reduce heart palpitations IN MY EXPERIENCES (age 58): Avoid cologne. Almost every brand of cologne or female perfume personally gives me heart palpitations. So I try my best to avoid them outright. Avoid food colors and artificial flavors. A lot of food additives cause heart palpitations, so I avoid them completely. Take electrolytes and drink clean water, avoid juices and sodas or keep them to a bare minimum. And also, be sure to keep your simple sugars under 50 grams per day, because too much sugar (sucrose, maltodextrin, dextrose, fructose, honey, table syrup) also causes heart palpitations. Cleanse your stomach, digestive tract and colon. How? I use a three-herb concoction that you can buy almost anywhere online. These herbs are powerful so you must use with caution. Very low doses to start. The three herbs are wormwood, black walnut hull powder, and clove powder. Make sure your herbs are super fresh or your cleanse won't work. Good luck and Namaste! 🙌🙏

I have noticed that walking in a mall or in a store by some cologne shops that breathing in the air can really bother my body breathing. But others are fine. The ones that promote that they are natural ingredients seem to be bother me much less.

I started having palpitations almost a year ago. I am 61 years old and in very good physical condition. They mostly came on when I went to bed for the night. This went on for a week before I reached out to my doctor. I went to my cardiologist and had a battery of tests including a stress test and calcium scan. All was good. I don't have them very often anymore except when I am taking a strength training class that includes cardio. When the palpitations come on it makes it hard to catch my breath and it reduces my physical performance and stamina. My doc prescribed Propranolol to take as needed. I now take a low dose, 10mg, prior to class. Sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't. Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.

I had the same thing...doctor only wanted to prescribe pharmaceuticals which I held off and did more research. Stumbled across Dr. Berg on KZread and found out he had a lot of solutions to health issues through natural remedies. My heart rhythm issues at night ended up being not enough quality electrolytes which I addressed with a good quality electrolyte powder and a good quality pink salt. Within weeks they disappeared altogether! Did NOT have to take any pharmaceuticals to address this which would have only ended up giving me side effects that would have led to more pharmaceuticals to address the side effects.

@@ahealthydoseofficial I had considered anxiety early on but brushed it off since I have never had issues with anxiety my entire life. At this time the only time I have palpitations is during strength training/HIIT classes. I may have found the formula over the past week. About an hour or so before class in the morning I take my blood pressure meds and a 10mg propranolol pill. I have a very light breakfast or no breakfast one to two hours before class time. Haven't had palpitations during class using this method. I used to take my blood pressure meds AFTER class. Again, I have ONLY been having them during class when my heart rate goes up and typically about 20 minutes into class.

A balanced diet is a good idea. I balance my diet by eating lots of animal fat and red meat. I balance this with home made full fat yogurt, a few nuts, and some berries. Occasionally I eat some sardines for extra balance. So remember, a balanced diet is 80% fatty red meat, 10% full fat diary foods, and the remaining 10% consisting of berries, fatty fish and nuts. Bon apetite!
