Kevin: she loved it Rc car: help me 😂😂😂😂

The dual servos are touchy. You have to find a quiet room so you can hear well, and adjust the little arms coming off the servo horn until the noise stops, so you can tell they're not fighting each other any more. Adjust it the wrong way, they make more noise, so it's actually pretty easy to figure out. It wasn't a huge issue, but I did think it was something you shouldn't have to do with an RTR vehicle out of the box. I've been running the dual servos for years since, on my gen 1 e-revo, without having to readjust, or having any issues.

Who else loves the Revo 2.0 but hates the rear bars?

I've had a Revo since they were first released 15+ years ago. I've broken nearly everything on it and upgraded as I went. I got my Revo to the point where absolutely nothing ever breaks anymore, EXCEPT for the differential gears. I don't recall those rear bars ever being much of an issue though. I think I upgraded them with a full set of titanium bars and never had another issue.

Nah fam get the xmaxx, had no problems with the push rods or toe links, just had problems with the esc and driveshaft on the e revo 2.0

Bought the E revo and that was a very expensive mistake

I always seem to miss the live streams, they always seem to coincide with my workout time, or when I'm picking up the kids or something, but hey that's the way things go sometimes nice seeing that big rig out and about again, have a good one 😀👌

The e revo is finally alive again!

One thing I love to do with my car is turn all the way to the right, let go and because it jiggles back and forth VERY quickly, my servo can actually respond in time and wiggles the wheels too.

You should put zip ties on the back of the e revo to prevent stripping the Rod ends. Works great for me. Want to make a vid about it soon.

HEY KEV!!!! The rear link that is sliding down is on upside down it should have the long side up. You probably figured that out already. Just wanted to let you know if you didn't! Love your work thanks for everything you do

At $30 you can install two of them if the BEC can handle that load and trim them, then it should steer perfectly (the servo saver seems to be on the soft side tho).

One mod, new information, thanks kev!

Only necessary mod i had to do with mine was replace the faulty esc out of the box 8( but the erevos a beast when running right! Ive since replced other things (toe links and tires and such) from my tumbles and stupidness lol

Kev can you add some tracks to wheels of the traxxas?

I just got a traxxas slash 4x4 vxl and i broke it in the first week! My local hobbies store sell parts for cheap!

Great to see the erevo out again. On your recommendation I brought two Zop batteries and so far I like them. My erevo does seem to be a lot more punchy than yours though.

Ive just realised the same thing after ordering one. Bummer

hot racing limiting straps might help stop breaking the rear links. i need to dig out my revo and try and fix the pivot balls again, or take it to be repaired if it is still too fine of work for my 'trigger finger' condition to deal with.

have your screws stripped out of the body shell? i just got the traxxas rustler 4x4 vxl and three of the front mounts have stripped out what can i do to fix that

Hey Kev. You should try the RPM True Track conversion kit, it eliminates the rear turnbuckles for the e revo.

They require modding for the 2.0 and they shorten wheelbase The latest traxxas TUBES toe links paired with 85mm hr straps hold up nicely, haven’t had an issue since

the tsm gets bad when changing to a fast servo. the computer is programed to respond in a certain, tested way to stop a slide, when the servo does more, faster than whats programmed, it can get wierd :D

What would be a good servo for the 1/16 E-Revo

My erevo keeps breaking.... replaced center driveshafts, rear links, ALL suspension links, and now the spur gear and pinion gear keep stripping... kinda a letdown with the truck tbh... I really want to figure out what I’m doing wrong or if traxxas needs to check it out...

Hate to break it to ya Kev. But you got the older Revo 2.0 which has alot of weaker parts compared to the new ones. Me and my friends Revo we just got this year 2019 have new updated Servos and they are still going very strong!

Nice little bash there kev! Front flips seem much harder to do than backflips, mine always twists in air and I land badly!! 😂 keep bashing!

BROTHER ALL I DID WAS UNHOOK A SERVO THEN NEUTRAL IT OUT AND ADJUST THE STEERING ROD ACCORDINGLY THEN REATTACH AND DO THE SAME FOR THE OTHER SIDE AND MY 2.0 IS STILL KILLIN IT
