9 OUT OF 10 CORRECT FOR ME Some of those questions were indeed very challenging, the one I didn't get was Question 6 as I just couldn't see it & some others were lucky guesses

I really like the programme, but I found these questions unusually tricky. 5/10 😮

@1anhunter1 Hi, this set of questions was one of the most difficult yet. Well done on getting 5.

Horn and pawn only rhyme if you have particular English accents, not is you are from other cultures with different accents where the R is pronounced.

@@QuizTimeUK yes I'm in Scotland so it does not rhyme in our accent or people from the North of England.

I’m currently sitting in Pontefract and and all the Yorkshire folk say it rhymes. The words do phonetically rhyme and it is a valid and correct question. The site below lists all the rhyming words for Pawn. www.rhymezone.com/r/rhyme.cgi?Word=pawn&typeofrhyme=adv&loc=advlink4

@@QuizTimeUK I'm a speech and language therapist and I know you're wrong. This is not accurate for those of us in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, so it does not represent the UK, only parts of England.

@letsclaire-ify1791 Hum. It looks like you may have a point. This is what ChatGPT says. In Scottish English, "horn" and "pawn" do not typically rhyme. The word "horn" is usually pronounced with an "aw" or "ɔː" sound, similar to how it is pronounced in other varieties of English. On the other hand, "pawn" is pronounced with a broad "a" sound, similar to the "ah" sound in "palm." The difference in vowel sounds would generally prevent these two words from rhyming in Scottish English, just as they wouldn't rhyme in most other accents of English. However, pronunciation can vary significantly depending on the specific regional accent within Scotland.
