They debuted in 2015 but have been together since 2012 their age range is: 1995-1999 so the oldest is 29 and the youngest is 25!! Before debuting, the company wanted to have 17 members in the group, but many of the trainees dropped out during the training days (pre-debut). As a result, they never debuted with 17 members. However, since the company already decided on the name, they kept it but improvised its meaning to ( 13 members + 3 units +1 team = 17). Seventeen consists of 13 members distributed into 3 units (Hip-hop, Vocal, Performance), and each unit has its own leader. 1- Hip-Hop(rappers) unit has 4 members. 2- Vocal(singers) unit has 5 members. 3- Performance(Dancers/choreographers) unit has 4 members. Though all 13 members can sing, dance, and rap but they prefer the unit system so that each member has an area of expertise! Fandom name: Carat💎 before their debut, they performed their song called 'Shining Diamonds' their fandom name started off from that song. Their fans are the carats that help Seventeen shine. THIS!!!!! You'll be mindblown to see them dance too.They are indeed INSANE in all ways.

The angel is their producer and vocal team leader! He produced most of their songs since pre-debut. They debuted in 2015 but actually have been around since 2012. So yeah they are 3rd gen group. I think they are the only 3rd gen group who still active doing group activities right now, maybe that's why you thought they are 4th gen. And they took care a lot of younger group too last year, doing tiktok challenges with them, encouraging the new groups. Most of 4th gen idols really respect them as their sunbaenim. I read this somewhere, "While everyone keep fighting about who paved the way for kpop, no one actually realizes that Seventeen is the only group who actually walk with the young idols and lead them along the way, instead of just paving it." I am so proud.

I know there are still 3rd gen group who releases mv and stuff like twice, nct, but they didnt attend the year end show that much.

@@thzaaai Not many now I agree but 3rd gen groups like Dreamcatcher and Kard for example are still perfectly active releasing albums, group activities, concerts, and both attended year end music shows this past winter too. Love Seventeen though, impressive how well they're still doing now they're coming up to their 9th anniversary

I always get tears when they start 울고 싶지 않아. Hoshi asks Wonwoo how he's feeling to start the song and Wonwoo responds, "I don't want to cry." This is just a few months after his mom passed. He's trying so hard to be present and smiling but also probably got most of his lines pulled for this performance because he's not up for performing. Knowing his fear of being the forgettable member, he probably forced himself to show up despite not feeling up to it.

they debuted in 2015, so they are 3rd gen! they are born from 1995-1999! the one you liked who was short with blonde hair is named woozi and he’s the producer of seventeen! he actually was on yoongi’s suchwita (as well as hoshi, i’d recommend checking those out!) they are known as self producing idols and synchronization kings! i would suggest checking out the songs you enjoyed as well as some other title tracks and dance practices, along with the super long seventeen guide. they also have a variety show called going seventeen which really shows their personalities! please keep reacting to them! 🤍

OK this just made my day! 😍 Trust me, you really need Seventeen in your life, they are so good. I especially love their choreos, they are not called king of synchronization for no reason. 😍You can react to any of the songs, you can't be wrong. My favourites are Super, Anyone, Clap, I don't wanna cry, HIT, Good to me, My I (both versions), Cheers, 2 minus 1, Fighting, Side by side and Darling of course. I was so happy that you say Woozi is a literal angel, because he truly is (yes my bias, but the VOICE and TALENT - you can't blame me). If you wanna hear more of his voice, than listen to his solo Ruby, What kind of future and Miracle. And last little info - Woozi and Hoshi were in Yoongi's Suchwita. The episode with Woozi was amazing, because everyone refers to Woozi and Yoongi as dopplegangers. They are really similar in some ways and they talked a lot about music since they are both producers. Hoshi is a sweet chaos guy, so it's always fun with him. Absolutely recommend both for info and fun. 👌

If you like them singing, I'd suggested "It's live" version of them. It's them with live band and it's very very good. But if you want to know how they get the name "kings of synchronization" they stage performance is a must!!! Especially when they performed for a music award (like MAMA, GDA)

Once you got into Seventeen there's no going back! They are so interesting to watch and so talented (vocal, rap, stage presentation, amazing dancers with best synchronization, comedy king, self producing, composers, very humble and many more). You described them really well, their connection is like a big family. I'm so proud that they get more and more attention, they truly deserve it all.

I love this killing voice so much. A very big carat, and just love watching reaction videos of people falling in love with seventeen. It makes me feel like I'm not alone falling in love and crazy about their talent!! Their concert performance are also insane guys!!! One of the best I've ever been in!!!
