Hey Josh, you should try to make a series where you rereview boots you were not big on but were popular or debated. Kind of like what you did when you retried the Nike premier 2. Or something like that. It would be interesting to see if some old popular boots still hold up today like the Vapor 8

I really enjoyed this video dude. I also had several of these growing up as a kid. Takes me back. I totally enjoy seeing these throwbacks in such great condition. I have a pair of new in box original Puma Cellerators from the early 90s (the green and black ones with the hexagonal puma cells in the sole) that are totally not my size, but I like to take them out and look at them every now and then just for nostalgia reasons.

Really love this retro review, would be better also feature the insoles as well.. I remembered that i used to have those pair of Reebok SprintFit, and in my opinion, it was pretty comfort and great for shooting as well as for dribble.. Looking forward for next episode

My personal favorite from that bunch is the X 17+. All three are great options though, just very different when it comes to fit and feel, so it depends on what you're looking for.

Reminds me of NBA players breaking out DS 10+ year old basketball shoes then the outsole detaches from the midsole and upper lol! In reference to the T90 II. I heard shoes last longer when moderately worn but I’m not to sure.

Also, I absolutely loved the Wave Ignitus 1s. Still one of the best boots of all time in my opinion. I would love to find a new pair!

The black leather total 90 air zooms were the best boots ever. They were so comfortable. I would have played in those forever.

You should do retro comparisons between brands

Will never forget my first game in the lz 2, was super grippy like the instinct, so much so I fell over the ball while dribbling on a breakaway and looked like an absolute fool.

It would depend on what type of fit and feel that you're looking for. It would also depend on what's on sale at the time when you're looking to buy new cleats.

If they're not physically broken, but just worn out, that's your call to make on when they need to be replaced. If they still feel good, there isn't really a need to replace them.

I don't play soccer often, but I love learning about different kinds of athletic footwear. I was thinking about why most modern boots don't implement some sort of cushion. Is there a reason why Nike stopped putting zoom units? I know adidas has been putting a THIN layer of boost in some of their high end boots.

The Boost in the Predator 18+ or Ace 17+, in my opinion based on my experience with it, doesn't feel like anything special at all. Just feels like a normal insole. The main reason why Zoom Air went away on Nike boots I think has to do with reducing weight and people simply not caring about, therefore Nike has no motivation put it in their boots.
