I feel like we've got a lot of potential classics this season: Slime, Re:Zero, Mushoku Tensei, Attack on Titan, maybe Jujutsu Kaisen and Promised Neverland... But maybe it's just that 2020 was such a lacking year that this season feels so glorious by comparison.

I adore the concept of this show, just starting out as a weak little monster and slowly accumulating powers that you eat. The progression is constant and satisfying, and it's also pretty convenient for the author, as it lets them kinda just force any power they want into the story, as long as the sum of the powers before it are more powerful than it. I haven't seen way too many stories with it either, but I'd imagine it's pretty easy to overuse. But until I get bored of it, I'm willing to just embrace it.

Rimmuru was already an hazard class monster upon reincarnation or he would've died of Magicule poisoning well before meeting Veldora, which is why Veldora is a bit of a Tsundre he's lonely.

(Spoiler for probably the whole season) Just noticed you see Millim and Shion because they the two people Rimu had to save. Millim from Clayman (although she was pretending), and Shion from death.

I could listen to this song on loop all day.

I feel really bad because when i first heard about this anime i thought it wouldnt be good based on the title alone but after a friend of mine strongly recomended it i gave it a try and now its one of my top favorites

I don't even know what scene you're referring to, there's so many of note, but I have a couple good guesses and I think you and I both already know.

I think this ending is best than the opening, its very calm

I really like this ending, though I prefered Season 1's EDs a bit more... Also can't wait until they finish the skipped content so Season 2 can really start to kick off :D

yeah something is probably going to happen -first the opening start with rimuru walking and millin and shion are in "peace" -and then rimuru suddenly stops walking forward and starts to go back -shion and millin start walking -then they start fighting and rimuru fly to maybe go back faster -and they're both sleeping... i dont know anything about what happens but thinking this way it looks suspicious

I can't imagine the cut content taking all 12 episodes of the first coure (unless they add every . . . single . . . detail from the light novel into the anime, which is highly unlikely) at most it's probably going to take 5 episodes, then they'll get to the next arc.

I was honestly expecting "Reimei" by TRUE (the song from the first official trailer) to be the ending. I guess, it fits even better as the ost for the aftermath of what will be going down soon; the "death" of a certain character 👀
