Weaver는 스텝도 좋고, 움직임에 있어 신체 벨런스가 안정적이여서 앞으로 더 잘할 수 있을 듯 암튼 Gohar 축하!

Seems like a bad matchup for Weaver. She's a strong player, but she had no answers for Gohar's style of play.

You can't out hit the Goinator, you must move her out of position and finish with a dead nick or be deceptive with shot selection. As for Olivia, very skilled and fit player, certainly belongs with the top ten in the world. Great squash, thank you ladies and PSA SquashTV. Skål!

Tbf 3 of the top 5 didn’t play, they were probably taking a rest period and to also do some training maybe because el gouna is the much bigger tournament which is literally next then straight after there will be world championships then soon after British open and world tour finals, so these 3 platinum events and world championships so they are probably conserving energy for that

That's the name of the Egyptian club that is hosting the tournament so I think that's why idk

I thought all competition balls changed to white but traditionally used to be black. For me it is better as i can see it when i am watching, black balls are terrible on TV

Squash balls are normally black. White balls are only used on all glass courts.

Despite a relatively simple “hit the ball as hard as you can for as long as you can” game strategy, it works against 99% of the women’s tour. It’s actually difficult to not get lulled into trying to outhit someone like that. Those who say, just slow down the game by using lobs or vary the pace, clearly haven’t played against a consistent hard hitter, any loose ball is severely punished.

I truly hate Gohar style, nothing elegance, nothing smart play, just a pure raw shots. So simple, so pathetic.

pathetic is a weird way to describe it. But yes from a viewers perspective it is getting boring watching her out hit all other woman on the tour over and over again.

You must then hate Ali Farag's style too..accurate and relentless line hitting, running opponents into the ground..on topic, Nouran Gohar is named terminator for a reason. Few women players can match her pace and power, Sherbini and Hammamy being the exceptions.

@@jd11mab10 wtf are you talking about Farags game is completely different. He doesn't hit really hard and play at pace. His strengths are fluid smooth movement and accuracy in his shots to constantly move the opponent around the court. I would struggle to pick two more opposite players if I tried. Poor understanding of squash, L analogy.

I quite enjoy contrasting styles but I"m a little bit surprised she's not evolving her game. Although that style is effective against almost everyone - she comes undone on occasion against el Hammamy and nearly always when it counts against Sherbini who seems totally unfazed by all the flying bullets. One or two others are also beginning to catch up - it all looks good for the game.
