One reason why I love and appreciate this performance is that Beyoncé was able to use her showmanship and power in a way that Stevie could feel. She didn’t do the typical performance whistles and bells because she knew it ultimately wouldn’t do much because of his sight. So she got a really solid band, two great guests, and used her instrument to put on a show that moved him in a that he could feel in his bones. And that’s really what music is about. Forever one of my favorite performances of hers.

exactly, and this can be done only by artsist ,who are real artists and very taleneted ...Beyonce is extremely talented, not really evaluated for how talented she is vocally ,to be honest... maybe the fact that she has coreographies it distracts the attention ...but she is viocally a Beast ! she practically can do whatever she wabts and tottally efforrtlessly .......

Fun fact that we found out from the Renaissance Film is that her ability to growl like that developed from a vocal injury she sustained as a kid when these producers kept making her repeat a specific strenuous vocal. She thought her career was over, but she ended up using it to her advantage and its now a technique that she's known for.

Oh my God, finally!! I asked for so much for this reaction. We need to do a collective effort to get more reactions to Bey performances

The ppl who say she can’t sing or say others sing better just irritate me bc they don’t know anything about vocals. Nor do they even watch her live performances or listen to her music to know what she can do. They just think she’s overrated and diminish her talent down to “she’s just an entertainer not a singer”. Then the ppl who say she has no soul and no emotion in her singing just bc it’s technically perfect. As if she’s focused on that whole singing. She just sings perfectly lol. How is that a bad thing?

I saw beyonce in concert right next to the runaway stage years ago and it is an experience i will never forget.

This is my favorite performance of Beyoncé ever! Number 2 is Glastonbury for me, specifically the part where she sings Prince’s ‘Beautiful Ones’ and ‘Sex On Fire’ by Kings Of Leon. I will leave the link under this comment. That is CRAZY GOOD as well. She is superhuman.

The dress stays down by hair spraying your tights. She told us in 2003 and i never forgot. The dress sticks. 😊
