Damn Mr. Downie! Like I said previously, just discovered your channel few weeks ago, and what is not to like? You scratch the curious itch in us all, and you present it in such a way that to so entertaining to the pallet. For those of us that are too wound up in our own lives to travel and question, ten minutes or so with you sir, makes one realize that we all need to jump off the cliff of life, and build our wings on the way down. Thank you.

I was stationed there when I was in the army, wild history there, sad history, my grandfather who I told you about that was a rail roader, actually fought at heart break ridge and Chosin Reservoir during the Korean War as a Marine, he also fought in WW2 prior, he came home and became a rail roader in Cincinnati, my dad was stationed on the DMZ in the 70s and I was there from 2009 to 2011, I’m only 37.

There was a tour for people working at the Olympics.

I love that the South Korean propaganda announces "You have made it" for those brave souls defecting from NK. Thanx for sharing that.
