Did not think much of Walters as a kid but that might have been me thinking the Bronco's of the late 80's and the 90's were a bunch of nobs. But that display there has softened my view a bit of the bloke. Reynolds too, being beaten in two different teams by the same side essentially has to hurt.

I think the difference was when Cogger came on. He took all the pressure of Cleary, fast carrying the ball to the line and creating opportunities. Lui was the problem. Gave Cleary time to think and play in front of him. I saw this as a Broncos fan.

I feel like Cleary is getting more praise than he should be yea he scored the match winner but IMO Crichton was far more instrumental in that comeback without his gathering of a loose ball followed by a big run and then a try to get them back into the game and then the clutch repeat set that gave Penrith the ball back and gave Cleary the chance to score Broncos win

I can't easily believe that Adam Reynolds gave the game away on a golden plate to Penrith. His sort line drop out cause the loss. I for one would definitely blame him. This is a damn grand final. There is no 100% absolute chance of Broncos getting the ball with his sort kicks. There is a contest from both sides and Penrith got possession of most of the sort kicks and scored 3 consecutive unanswered tries. He should have considered the yards, kick away from their Broncos 50m yard and continue defend and finish the game on high note. Congrats to Ezra Mam for the 3 tries. Trumps !!

No lies. Every single time this man positioned himself to kick short I couldn't stop walking out bcs it mostly goes both ways, either too short or out on the full, but there's a very slim chance of retrieving it. Yet when they got that chance the first time Penrith scored literally right off of it and he still decided to stick to it through out the game SMH. If it doesn't work once or twice, don't keep testing it in an important and crucial game. Also I hurt for Ezra, he put on a show and now I'm a fan. I also really think Bronx would've won if Reece got involved more bcs man was he dangerous every time he touched the ball. Had he took the the game by the horns like Cleary did Penrith would'nt be able to contain him even with Cleary on fire. But in the end, it comes down to who wants it more and Cleary showed it. What a beautiful game it was.

I am a staunch Parra fan that has lived in Brisi for over 20 years. I can't help but to feel for them, to pretty much have it the bag and to have it snatched away like that. In 2022 Parra never really looked like winning and that was hard enough to take, I can't imagine losing like that! Both Kevvie and Adam are not only true professionals but have humility which is starting to become a bit of a rare trait. If the current team stay fit and mostly together they could definitely string 3 straight as Penrith have.

if the current team... you mean the one that will need to fork out an extra 500+ for Mam? fork out an extra 600+ for Reese? LMFAOOOOOOOO tell us you don't know a thing about roster management without telling us you don't know a thing about roster management. LMFAOOOOOO this was their one shot and they blew it. Bye bye Flegler. Bye bye Herbie. 'if the current team stay fit'. LMFAOOOOOOOOOO. Quick thjere's still time to delete your comment

I find it mind boggling that people like you exist in our community who think its ok to talk like that to someone you don't know who wrote an innocent comment that was supposed to more about how good the broncos coach and captain are and how I feel for them. You are obviously one very bitter person who loves to hide behind their keyboard. Just to clarify what I actually said was if the current team stay MOSTLY together they have a real shot. Your right Flegler and Herbie are departing but they still have an awesome roster for the 2024 season. They have still have Mam, Walters, Reynolds, Riki, Capewell signed for another season. Walsh, Staggs, Hetherington and Cobbo are signed for another 2 seasons, Haas until 2026 and Carrigan until 2028 and so on. I look at this as a pretty healthy roster over the next few years. I know that you will probably come back with some condescending horrible comment but that's ok! If you feel like this helps you get through the day, go for your life. @@badabing8152

Kevvy and Adam also failed to acknowledge that most of the Panthers side have been playing together and have been best mates since they were junior footy kids. The Broncos have not, the Eels from last year have not and the Rabbitohs the year before have not. THAT's part of what makes this team so "Elite" as you call it. And the Panthers over the last 3 or 4 seasons have often in their games, come from way behind on the scoreboard to snatch victory in the dying moments, so it's certainly not surprising for Panthers supporters like us that have lived and breathed it for the last 4-5 years.

Yes, that is important as it is a team sport after all. However - the Panther's first GF was lucky - an intercept try (if Cody's pass stuck, Souths would have been the Premiers). 2nd GF - the Eels were unworthy opponents. But tonight, it was a mighty effort by Nathan Cleary. The Bronx just dropped their intensity for just 5 minutes and the momentum changed.
