George's nonbiological father. He adored Carl Perkin's. So neat he got to perform more than once with his guitar 🎸 idol. You can see the pure bliss.
I'm 83 now and this. Music gets me tapping. Y feet. Love it.
George Harrison looked perfect here
George Harrison in my eyes what's always the best and will always be the best is my favorite Beatle his music is so dang relaxing thoughtful and just written exactly like he would want it written
George Harrison it's always the best always was always will be in my eyes my favorite Beatle his music is so thank and meaningful just like him
Not the end of your legacy dear George ❤️
Carl kept the beat with both feet. George did the same. Love his footwork onstage in A Hard Day's Night.
Notice Joe Brown on the other side of Carl. Georges mate and George was best man at Joe Browns wedding. X
I love my sweet George. He was a true lover of the old rockabilly. He was great at all he did. He was so happy playing music with his hero Carl Perkins. He was also extremely handsome. Mmmmmm. ❤️🌹❤️
Sadly Carl and George are no longer with us . 😥 The great Joe brown is still here and strong . I once asked Joe who was the best guitarist he had played with and he said Carl Perkins !!!
Brilliant performance by all on stage. Love seeing George play a Telecaster!
George and Carl made quite a team. If you haven't heard George and Carl with Ringo, Rosanne Cash and Eric Clapton and other greats you gotta dig it cuz it's the best!

It's s must see. In the clip, you can clearly see how enamored George is. George's moment if utopia
George's second guitar solo in this track is AMAZING!!
George had a wonderful life, and it feels good to celebrate it by watching him play!
Man, Would love to see so many Rock n Roll artists play together.. sadly so many off them died too young
george's voice in 88 is as good as 63

Miss you George💗 see you again one sweet day💕
I love them all but George mmmmmmm simply my fav....!!!!
Well, they never released it, but George was awesome here!
George was a DAmn good singer!
George was a VERY under-rated singer, he had a great Rock n Roll voice.

He was not underrated. Nor IS he. He's loved for his voice.
Carl Perkins was a boss performer. I don't think the man ever hit a bum note in his life, while his tone consistently impeccable
Haven't ever seen this before now. Brilliant!
Rip...Carl ...rip George !!!!!
What the heck!!! After all these years and I'm still discovering new clips and songs by the Fabs. George and Carl together - they could have made a great rockabilly album! And lovely to see Joe Brown and George playing together too

Tony Littman Apparently, George and Joe were close neighbours. They became friends after Joe moved to Surrey, and George 'phoned him and said, "I don't know if you remember me, but we toured together in 1962. Do you fancy coming over and playing a few tunes?". They both loved ukuleles as well.

There is Carl Perkins and Friends Rockabilly Sessions in which Carl's best friend is apparently George, as he is the most heavily featured. Excellent renditions of Carl's best rockabilly numbers

Haha I just discovered this clip again! Don’t remember seeing it but I must have since I commented on it seven years ago!!
Always nice to see these guys together.
He's a teenager again - brilliant!
George was really at home with the rockabilly guitar technique, and deeply influenced by Carl's style. Carl's influences showed up time and time again throughout the Beatle years and in Georges solo work later on. I miss you George and your wry sense of humor. People labeled George as the "Quiet Beatle" but I saw him more as the "Grounded One." He didn't let the "fame" aspect of show business get to him the way the other 3 did.

He wasn't quiet he just didn't suffer fools easily and he wasn't grounded he was a bit nuts. Love him forever ❤

George grounded……😂 George was a great guy, but grounded wasn’t one of his qualities for a very long time. Now if you said he liked chasing p##sy you would be 100% correct. Great song with Carl Perkins.
Carl Perkins was a Beatles' favorite.

Not seen it mentioned in the comments but for those who don't know George was a Carl Perkins superfan and for a while adopted the name Carl Harrison as his stage name
Go on Joe 😊 so great 😊
Just saw the play "Million Dollar Quartet" and was blown away. Knew of Carl Perkins but the play made me hungry as hell to find out more about him. I feel so blessed to see videos like this. Rock ' Roll is almost my life's blood. Thank you so much for this video. Just learning how much the Beatles were influenced by this humble but ohhhh so talented man, Carl Perkins.......
What a brilliant trio (albeit a little manic)! As George Harrison said, "End of story". No-one can match this.
Absolute gold!
Gold! Gold! Gold!
Primera vez que veo a Harrison cantar así, fantástico!
george was a modest guy not trying to be the focus of attention. he loved life itself and but in a great run for the money to be one of the best of musicians that lived in our era. cant take nothing away from his friend john lennon. both are missed, rip guys youall were great. rod aspen
Wow this a treat .thank you for showing these great talent come together .This why I loved George Harrison .he branched out of the Beatles and di what he wanted to do and took risk and it certainly paid off
Why, oh why such great musicians have to die?
Love this .. never seen it before .. thank you

Few singers / guitarists are better performers. What legends!
Beatle...nuff said👏
Iam in Love x
I hate cigarettes .... smoking killed my mom and my favorite Beatles...
Great, especially since I just read the Michael Palin diaries and he talks about this :-)
Is there a full version of this without commentary? I will pay for it.
I think Carl and George were brothers.

Hola Ingo, I just strolled over to the Frank Sinatra video for “My Way” & nowhere could I find you correcting the video’s title by throwing out that Frank Sinatra did not write the song, it was Paul Anka. Get your lazy ass to work!

I hate to upset George Harrison fans (I'm one of them) but Carl runs away with this. This is a bit like watching the master and his apprentice. Don't forget Carl wrote a sang Blue Suede Shoes and let Elvis record it first (I don't know why).

Brilliant version. Paul McCartney pales in comparison. I'm sure Elvis (although incomparable) would have approved .
