Oh I love this, the music was just joyful (Irish family). I was that child in the 70's, every recorder going, still have them, never played more than a few tunes, maybe when I was 7 or 8! Recorders were always frowned upon. So glad that I discovered your channels recently, I love a good shop too! 😉💚

I got an award for playing the recorder when I was 9! 😂 I played a solo in my school assembly. It was terrible but better than the others apparently
Agree about recorders getting bad press! You can do amazing things on the recorder. I have them all from sophrano to bass including some beautiful wooden ones. I like playing Telemann stuff on the recorders
