That Pedal Show - Tore From TC Electronic: Hall Of Fame 2, Flashback 2, Mimiq, Pipeline and more!

Музыка

Welcome to That Pedal Show! Please subscribe to our channel and visit our store www.thatpedalshowstore.com
REALLY LONG VIDEO WARNING! If you want to skip straight to the new pedal sounds, please see the timings in the ‘Interesting bits and go-to sections’ information below.
In this video we are delighted to welcome Tore Lynggaard Mogensen, product manager from Danish effects giant TC Electronic. You’ll know Tore from his videos for TC. He’s nine feet tall, hairy and among the most decent humans in the business.
TC Electronic has been a leader in guitar pedal development (and studio processing gear) for many years now, with no let up in 2017 as we welcome a genre-changing update to the popular Flashback Delay and Hall Of Fame Reverb. There’s also a cool tap tremolo (Pipeline) and an automatic doubler/quadifier! (Mimiq)
We ask Tore about his history with the company, before looking at the new products and chatting generally about pedal development… and of course the brand’s postentially scary acquisition by German behemoth, Music Group (Behringer).
It’s a long video today, but forgive us. We love yakkin’ about all this stuff, so we hope you enjoy listening to it!

The reverse guitar sound on Hendrix' recordings is done by actually reversing the direction of the tape, and recording it normally, and then reversing again, just to get that reversed guitar sound. It was done before delay and reverb pedals were popular. Thank Eddie Kramer for that sound. This pedal is awesome, btw.

I think TC makes a great product and sincerely believe they are so successful because they literally listen to their customers needs and wants regarding their pedals. Like i stated I have never seen Tore before and must say he seems like a very nice guy who very much so wants TC to keep moving forward. What a nice and honest man with good answers for difficult questions. Saving up to get the HOF2 and perhaps the flashback for Xmas based on this video and the one with Danish Pete.

I've got a Cinders and a mojomojo and absolutely love the range of tones you get from those overdrive pedals. They both sound great with my Prs single coil s2 vela as well as my les Paul. Everything from just breaking up bluesey tones to crunchy goodness. Love the tc lineup.

Tore's sincerity and candor is much appreciated...his old school approach to marketing doesn't appear to suck at all. Just put an Alter Ego X4 delay on my board because of y'alls show, really digging it.

Yes! Give me a mini EQ pedal with a rotary selector for stock/TonePrint presets and a stomp button.

Besides the On/Off thing I also would love if you keep it pressed (like the mini spark booster) it recalls a second setting for soloing then when you release it it goes back to eq settings for rhythm, at least that is what I need.

Very proud to say I just got a 1210. It analog, very simple to use. The sounds that come out of this unit are exactly what I had been hearing all these years. Loud, and lush.

How COOL is it to see Mick as excited as Dan usually gets over awesome pedals sounds?! Never thought I'd see that day, but here it is! Amazing sounds and technology on the show - honk for that too.
