His Dad Craig is a fantastic Magician and inventor of `Magic tricks, Ryland has been doing magic since he was very young He even does reviews of new magic tricks with his dad, he has a very bright future indeed,

It’s the frame. All the little frames have one side longer with that partern, which you can push down to cover the cube. That’s why, all of them touch the back side of the frame when they put the cube in. The second hand never holds other places of the frame whiling putting in, only the back side of the cube.

I thought his presentation was good but as for magically talented, the jury has to be out on that. It was a completely self working trick that anyone could have done with quite a simple method.

@@chrisc7670 BGT is kind of a fake show, the audience reactions they show and the judges roles are all managed and scripted. Remember when the judges were all open mouthed over Susan Boyle? They'd already seen her before in auditions, so no reason to be that surprised. There's a lot of acting which goes on, and the camera shots are very selective. Having said that Ryland presented this very well. I can't fault his showmanship but the magic was really weak. It was a self working trick. All the papers in the bowl said "love", a simple force. The cubes were mixed randomly, but when they were placed in the frame, you will see each person reach behind the frame also to pull down a small flap covering the actual cube with the desired pattern. This happens multiple times so easy to spot. The table was already engraved with the force word under the cloth. It's just a simple honest observation. Well presented, but magically weak. It wouldn't have fooled Penn and Teller, and I suspect most of the audience had more than an inkling, especially over the force.

All papers in basket was Love 😊 Nice act ! It’s magic !

He is very professional to be so young and knows very well how to involve the audience when he told them to take their torches out! He will definitely be successful at whatever he decides to do as he gets older! Definitely a Superstar! 🌟

The response of the audience to an effect is what ultimately matters, not how many smart-asses think they figured out how it was done. The audience here loved it, so the performer was successful.

Surely, all of the pieces of paper had the word LOVE written on them. The rest was just stage presence and a backdrop to the frame applied when his hand went around the back of it as he inserted Amanda's final cube. It would have been very impressive if he had then opened several other pieces of paper and they all had different words on them.

All the papers are written ( love ) . The jar bottom doesn't have a surface , he placed the cube in the bag then he put the jar above the cube. In order, he picked the team cubes placed in the dock where they were actually a cube in one hand that faced the audience and on the other hand a thin layer colored white and red placed behind the audience acting as if they were supporting the cube while installing. The last cube is placed by him so he had the thin layer and made the trick one last time . Finally he showed us the end result. You're most welcome. No hate Amazing trick for his age and for the performance.❤️

"he placed the cube in the bag then he put the jar above the cube" Actually No , as you can see in 0:32, he places both items next to each other and when closes the bag you can notice that the height of the bag is not that high that as you say he placed on the top of the cube.

All the words on the paper were Love in the box, so a simple force. It was not MAGICK. But good showmanship all the same.

I've seen this BRIILIANT trick done by Ryland at the Blackpool Magic Convention 2022 three months ago (the 2nd Gala show)! Way to go, Ryland!

SPOILER ALERT! The bowl of words most likely all had to same answer "love". The first rubix cube and jar were fake and collapsable props.. The real glass jar was already inside (you can tell the different quality of the real jar and fake jar. The whole cube mix up thing was basically for nothing. Doesnt matter what order or how configured the cubes were because at the back of the "rubix wall cupboard thing" the heart is already there. He does something before he turns it around to show the heart. The rest of it is obvious aswell. All in all, this kid did a good job and takes alot to perform on a stage at a young age. He will definitely be alot better when he gets much older.

Yeah, you can see that one cube had 8 red squares for the heart, but on the back there were another 3 red squares 😂

Anyone who knows these small gimmicks won't be as impressed. But it takes effort to put it all together and to perform it especially at that age. Hopefully he can come up with something unique for the next one :)
