I think it’s such a funny paradigm shift that Joel made from being the awkward guy to being the normal guy when Dax joined the crew.

The ending makes me think that joel was the one who thought up the whole interaction. They had a normal interaction, but joel thought, "How could this go worse?" and made that all up in his head.
Dax's character's always have a recurring theme of wanting to hypothetically assault someone, like when he was watching his friend count coins and thought about slapping the money from his hand.

Dax has grown to become such a good actor, I remember in the early days on this channel where he was more awkward, but now it's just natural
Dax is such an unexpected GOOD actor. I didn't tought he was terrible, but definetly didn't know he was so good. He's always on point.

My favorite part of this video is that saying "it couldn't have gone worse" directly led to a far worse situation. Dax not only gave examples, he made it a reality.
Dax's delivery of this is too good, looks like he's really in the moment thinking of all these things, hilarious man
Holy smokes Dax knocked it out the park with this one, absolutely busted my gut with his delivery!
The wavering in his voice when he says "what if I had a gun right now?" is simply perfect.
I don't think I've ever laughed at just a camera cut. Joel, the close up cut at 1:36 is brilliant!
I like to think they tried to shoot it first face to face like in the bloopers, but gave up and just did shot to shot because Joel couldn't keep it together.
I wish I had reassuring friends like that.

It's cool that Dax is a self-aware weirdguy, shows some spine knowing you're a strange person but rolling with it.
Dax is genuinely a good actor for these kinds of roles. I wish we could see more of him in movies, like 21 jump street.

Cursed to randomly have moments of experiencing hundreds of timelines at once, and the experience is so overwhelming they have to share what they saw
Pretty short-sighted of Joel to have suggested the interaction could not have gone worse when clearly it could have.
Always love seeing a couple bloopers at the end too. Love how much fun you're all having having playing around in those moments!

I love how the shot after the credits is basically never used in the sketch. Like they set up the camera on both of them and quickly realized that it was impossible to not break character and so they never used that angle.

These short films are just so good. This is the kind of stuff that got me hooked on KZread years ago, but I feel like it largely died off. To see this work so well, and so frequently, is just a testament to Joel and friends hardwork.
In the back of my mind I KNOW you guys are friends while I watch the sketches but it's always a bit relieving to see the shots where Joel breaks character to laugh
