In earlier episodes there was mention of wood rot at some points inside the house. It would be good content to have a candid update on the extent of any wood damage from water, carpenter ants and termites and if any remediation of the wood damage via repair and treatment is needed.

Me toooo!! I couldn't believe they were just putting them in a dumpster! I also think as long as you get your chimney cleaned every year you can still burn pine. We used to burn it all the time! We let it dry out for about a year. Granted, it doesn't burn as long as a hard wood but they have a fireplace and wouldn't be heating the whole house with it.I'm flabbergasted!

Those trees would yield some really amazing wood. You could have them milled into paneling or waynescotting. They looked like cedar so they'd smell amazing. Or Cedar siding for the house? It's incredibly durable and weather resistant with just stain. We had it on our house growing up and it was pretty much hassle free.

That would've been cool if they were cedar! I'm guessing they were pine. It would've probably been really difficult to get them turned into boards with where they were. I mean, getting them to a saw mill. Would've been awesome wood though!
