Put a 32" on my 038 magnum, and it does great, but that is a 72.5 cc saw to my knowledge. It's an older saw i got from an older neighbor and wasn't running. Would love to send it to the Tinman and have him go to town on it. Love your stuff Buckin . Stay happy 🇺🇸🙂

562 ported has been lots of the fellas favorite in northern New England, USA since 2016 for sure. Everyone still loves and trusts the 372 of course, but that 562 is so light and snappy…love you Buckin

I run a 32 inch full. Skip on a 462. There’s no problem running along bar even on a smaller saw It’s just a whole New World of cutting with a long bar as long as it’s getting enough oil. It doesn’t take any more horsepower to turn a long chain. as long as you’re not burying the whole thing in wood. And you mostly have it for a long reach.

Hi Buckin’ - I have purchased around twenty (20) STIHL chainsaws the last fifteen (15) years. I still own all of them, except for a STIHL 362 and STIHL 362c. Neither version of the 362 excited me, so I sold the both of them with no regrets. I own a stock STIHL 361 and it eats wood. Personally, I would rather see you do a comparison between a STIHL 361 & the Husqvarna 562.

It pulled it just fine which makes me want to try a premier light bar for better balance. But then again that’s not what I built my 562 for so I guess I’m saying I’m still torn haha😂

Buckin, what’s the philosophy behind the ‘Sister C’? I’m assuming due to the small radius, it allows you to get a flatter angle underneath the top-plate but transition quicker to a bigger angle and therefore quickly gain a stronger top-plate edge, is this about right?! To do this with a 7/32 would have the angle carry back into the top-plate too far and weaken the top-plate. To have the 7/32 this low would also be removing much side plate/tooth, etc.

I bought a 362 and a 562 mark I at the same time. The 562 will win. The difference between those two saws is that the 362 is still running and likely will for another decade and the mark I has already been in the shop for a catastrophic failure and it’s only 6 months old. First saw I’ve ever owned that didn’t run somewhere in the neighborhood of two thousand hrs before it needed to be opened up. Granted I have a half dozen newer saws that likely will never get to a couple thousand hrs because I’m no longer cutting 6hrs a day every day but that husqvarna and the way they handled what should have been a warranty job turned me off of them. Shame two because overall they likely are currently making the best saws but screw me once and I hold a grudge. I think I’ve bought close to twenty different models of saws new and probably 50 total and that 562 is the only one that turned me off. Hopefully others mileage is different. Why the shop didn’t just recommend waiting a couple more months for the mark II to come out bothers me as well. Live and learn. Maybe if it ever comes back from the shop it’ll hold together long enough to make me forget about it. Who knows 🤷🏽‍♂️👍🏼

I’m in the process of lightly porting a 52mm top end to put on my JRed 625ii… I’ve been debating a 28” or 32” for it when it’s done? Tell me your arseholes..oops I mean tell me your opinions😂😂
