🇬🇷 Thassos Island : Top 10 Places You Have To Visit!

🏝️ Thassos Island is one of the most popular travel destinations of Greece in the Aegean Sea. Easy to access by car via ferry, the island offers a plethora of activities if you feel like diversifying. From great beaches like Aliki, Golden, Paradise, Marble to ancient cities like Theologos and Prinos and great nature sculptures like Giola, the Island makes this destination perfect for any kind of traveler. You can hike, swim, eat, relax, get adventurous or chill under a tree, Thassos Island is a cheap alternative to the other exotic islands of Europe.
However, my suggestion is, if you come to the island, explore it outside your accommodation area. The landscape is very diverse and you'll be amazed by how many great memories you can capture.
🏰 The history of Thassos goes all the way back to antiquity. At that time, Thassos was famous for its goldmines and marble. Still today, you can see many of its archaeological treasures, which will make your journey something special. Also, the giant marble factories, which export the snow-white marble around the whole world, will amaze you.
Thassos is a materialization of most people’s preconceived ideas of what a Greek island is all about. Thassos has the added advantages of an efficient tourist infrastructure, friendly and helpful islanders, and a road system with regular bus services that ring the island. In total, it is one of the most appealing of the Aegean islands. Now firmly established on the package holiday map, Thassos has not been vulgarized by commercialism and here visitors are respected and not taken advantage of.

Really extra quality video Tashoss is my favorite island along with Skiathos every summer i go to Greece and prefer island's and i visit Zakintos Corfu Kefalonija Halkidiki and that is for 15+ years of summer's in Greece love it, also i would like to consider visit Serbia where i am from there is lot of Beutifull scenery's also Novi Sad Belgrade my home town but most nature Tara mountain and Kopaonik montain also Uvac and many more.

I visited Thassos a couple of years ago. We rented a Jimny to visit the island and go to Ipsarion. Due to a bug in google maps, it took us in a different place on top of the island, some sort of relay station. The road was well... offroad, but the view was spectacular. No people in sight, just a couple of goats. The silence and the gentle wind on top of the island is something I will never forget.

Karnagio Beach bar with its church on top and the sunsets there are memorable , our village Panagia, which is similar to Theologos, old, beautiful and colorful and Vathy, which for me is the best beach on the island, cleanest waters and best sand (unfortunately it’s a hotel area since this year), and maybe Kefalas as a landscape 💙

Frumos! Poți vedea apusuri deosebite și în portul vechi, pe dealul de lângă Karnagio Bar. Feriti-va de restaurantul de la min 3:58 din Aliki. Verificați restaurantele pe net înainte, mulți si-au luat tepe mari acolo cu pestele.

And, being in consideration your video about the sound, I’m curious, the sound effects, were recorded with your micro? Or some of them are from a database? And the music, loved it too. 😃

Thank you, friend! Most of the sounds are from a database. I only kept the audio, but I hope Ill have enough time and energy for a loger video about the island where I'm planning to add voiceover.

Hey, Kostas! Thanks for appreciating this video! You should definitely visit the island :) About your technical questions, I was using Sony a7siii paired with Sony 16-35 f/4 most of the time. As a gimbal, I have a DJI RS2 and the drone is the DJI AIR 2S. Everything shot in log (slog3 + dlog), graded in premiere pro.

@@kostasrestas thanks for sub! Honestly, a7iv is just few months away and looks like it'll be a great camera. If you don't need 10bit right now, just wait for a7iv, otherwise a7siii is a beast. I have the a7iii as a b-cam, but I only take it out for photos and b-cam. I don't usually usit it as main.

Sony a7siii with sony 16-35 and tamron 28-75. For the drone, I used a DJI Air 2S
Nice Iceland but to much Tourist from Balkan in Summer. They are very loud and disruptive and behave badly
