Tharu is South Nepal and North India , that means Terai nor India or Nepal , Terai controlled by two countries, once up time, this Terai used to be same area, but their controlled by India and Nepal, but still same culture on both side.

Would you compare it as the same as India's Sikkim and Darjeeling of West Bengal's certain tribes of people with Nepal's territories or regions? I always meet Gurungs in Nepal like in India's Sikkim and Darjeeling of West Bengal too :)

Tharu is mix tribe, it is Terai tribe, only 17% Terai in Nepal , rest in north India , it tribe Nepal Terai, Bihar Terai , Uttarkhand Terai and Uttarpradesh Terai , it largest tribe of Terai, it is Indo Nepal tribe, it is indic tribe ,not Mongolian tribe, it is Indo Aryan tribe whose has Dravidian, mongolian, Aryan, australoid feature, it main feature australoid feature but now mix ,so it difficult to found pure australoid feature, it only complex mixed heredity tribe.

I'm Also Tharu from Nepal 🇳🇵.But U are saying that Tharu come from Rajastan that is false. Tharu history is very deep. From ganga river to Himalayan foothill is deep hidden history. Around 3k year Tharu history clear found .Sakya, koliya ,suryabansi etc kingdom is around more that 2.5k year. So it's important to say Tharu come from Rajastan.Tharu are mix blooded features. Mostly 80-85% kirat(mongoloid ) and rest are Aryan features 🙏

That's not, actually they share DNA 32%-68% of south asian(Indian) and 33%-69% of East Asian(mongoloid), depending on their location
