Thapki pleads Kosi not to take Bihaan away, for which Kosi asks to talk without stammering. She also disapproves Thapki as her daughter-in-law. Later, in search of the truth, Bihaan starts digging the ground in front of the house and finds a brick marked with his name on it. A furious Bihaan then accuses Balvinder of killing his father and asks the entire Pandey family to vacate the house.
The bright and beautiful Thapki is pretty much perfect... except for one minor flaw - she stammers. But that doesn't hold her back. All she needs is an encouraging pat on the back,a 'thapki', which soon becomes her name. Over the course of the show, Thapki falls in love with Dhruv, but is duped into getting married to his brother, Bihaan.
