i really wish we had another infinity war thanos, maybe battle on titan version with removable stones from the gauntlet.. imagine reproducing some movie battles with his gauntlet with only 2 stones, or 4 stones?

Not for me because of the shoulder path and armpath easily fall down.. its a bit annoying

Yes, if you want the classic comic look, the original Endgame version is the best.

Great review however your not really doing the original armoured Thanos figure any justice having his shoulders pushed down like that. Also IMO there's something slightly off about the neck, the head is too sunk into the body ( no neck) on the new damaged version.

Thanks for that, will keep a look out for the small details for my new videos. As for the Final Battle head being sunk in, its because the armour is bigger this time. In the movie there are some shots where it seems as though his neck is short. I guess Bandai done it slightly over.

A few interesting things I notice are the Nano Gauntlet stones are painted while the other Thanos had clear stones. Also, the 2 older Thanos had these angular elbow joints which does not swivel, but the Final Battle one has ball joints which do.

I put the first release Thanos for my IW display, which he wores his gauntlet with the full armor in the IW (IK the figure is in EG title) but the way we could use the both figures and won't feel wasted

Awesome channel only one I know that compares all releases of the same characters to show differences.

I prefer to just pick up the one but since Bandai didn't give us the accurate one first time round, I had to go and get the latest version. And since I have two, I may as well share my thoughts. Don't know how many more figures in the future will have multiple releases.

Why are the shoulders like that on the original one?

We got that one even before the movie was released. So they probably got the rough estimate.

If I have Thanos final battle version only, is there any reason I also should pick up the Infinity version? Is the head or the hand swappable?

I personally think the Infinity War version is quiet a different figure and would have its own display with the Infinity war line. There were many memorable battles with that Thanos. The head and hands are swappable with each other but the colours are slightly different. And obviously the left hand gauntlet on the IW version wouldn't look right on the non gauntlet hand of the FB version.

I would get all three of the Figuarts Thanos figures. It’s the only way to get the most out of every scene that he’s in. The original Endgame Thanos figure is actually fairly accurate to his look on the Asgardian ship-mostly because of the gauntlet. So, you really kinda need that one too, seeing as that’s the only time Hulk is actually “Hulk” in the film and you need the proper Thanos to go up against him. The Marvel Legends one will suffice though, but they’re probably about the same price, in all honesty. If you don’t want to plop down money on the Figuarts Infinity War Thanos (the without armor), I would suggest getting the Marvel Legends version from the 3-pack or even the Children of Thanos pack.

To expensive ughh i had to stick with my Marvel select endgame thanos for awhile but he is not bad to

The Marvel Select version is not bad. I do like the paint job on it and they sculpted the face well. Also it has the option to switch out the gauntlet which is a plus.

really glad i got the final battle version. the others look like such a downgrade. I still kinda want the infinity war thanos since that is technically a different character lol

Yes, the Endgame FB edition is a major improvement. I think the Infinity War version is worth getting too. Most of his memorable fights were from Infinity War.

I think it's more a matter of preference. If you want the iconic, comical Thanos, get the 1st release. If you need to be movie accurate, FB is the way to go. I prefer mine with the Infinity Gauntlet.

Perfectly balance as all things should be.

Debating on picking the new one up but definitely not worth 150 dollars and the old one is a downgrade hopefully there’s a price drop

I would say the FB version if price wasn't an issue. The original one is good but if it's expensive, there's alternatives like the Marvel Legends, Marvel Select or others around which are more worth it.

Wow that's a huge miss by SHF imo on the FB version NOT being able to use the open mouth/teeth gritted fighting expression face w/helmet on as the majority of the Final Battle fight w/Cap, Iron Man & Thor his helmet was ON & most of Thanos expressions were fighting w/open mouth/teeth gritted. So actually not being able to add helmet to that head is not close to movie accurate. No idea how SHF somehow concluded it was ok for helmet to just work on 1 head (w/"I'm bored" expression). As a result (and for the way overpriced (imo) $150 USD) FB version an easy pass for me. Thanks for the comparison highlighting the differences.

Yeh, I agree considering the price they should let us use all the faces with/without the helmet. I guess I will have to use the original figure headsculpts for that. Which of course not everyone is going to buy both.
